For a debut song, it's pretty boring and generic H!P to me. :< I want my old Pre-Debut S/mileage back! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... dammit.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whatthe:' />



But their singing is tops so I can't fault them on that.

I don't like it very much, I can't really put my finger on what I dislike about it.

It would sound better if the group was bigger, the chorus was lacking for me.

I have to admit I was happy this song was over when they were performing it live. I liked it, but there was something about it that made me want to move on to the next song. The chorus is exciting, but I don't really understand the verses. The good thing about major debuts is that there will be a second song on the CD.

I like this song too. It's not their usual style, but I still enjoyed it. As long as Tsunku doesn't totally give up on them and give them songs that all sound the same for every single, then I don't mind one "typical H!P" song.



And yeah, I wouldn't have noticed it if neshcom hadn't have mentioned it, but I can hear the Kawaii Kare vibe.

Ok song, it doesn't suit s/mileage though. I prefer there usual type of songs. It sounds more like a C-ute song. I can totally imagine Airi dominating the lines in it.

I kind of like it. I mean it's not typical Smileage but I think it's good for their debut single. The chorus is catchy and though the song may be H!P generic, it'll give new fans of Smileage something that their generally used to hearing from H!P and then they will continue to like the group from there. Besides the vocals were pretty much amazing, even Ayaka sounded pretty good.

This is their major debut. Those were all considered "indies" releases. So they were singles, but indies singles. The distribution of the CDs (and promotion, I guess) is far wider, and also they come with b-sides now.

I'm not a big fan of the short hair on Kanon, but it can look better. On these covers its styled like a boy's cut, and looks really out of place on her. The covers are nice overall though. I agree with Trike, MM always seems to get shafted while everyone else in H!P generally gets pretty decent covers.

I prefer Kanon with longer hair but it is not as bad as it seems, it was just not really styled okay in my opinion. Sometimes it looks really cute in her blog pictures...



By the way, it seems they've been thinking of putting that mosaic online somehow so everyone could see it.
