What Little info I could find was this. Thanks in part to Allkpop and aiyathedidn't
i Me is a Chinese pop girl group that debuted in 2010. The group is able to speak 8 different languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Sichuanese, Thai, Korean, Japanese, German, and English.
They released their debut mini-album in June of this year, Aiyiya. Members are, Mocika Li, Mikan Liu, Niki Yi, Sara La (It would be so much cooler if her name was Sara Lee...), and Crystal Shim.
You can watch the Aiyiya MV here -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_cGVarj5i0
You can watch the Thai Version here -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xtx-xJzGYQE
You can watch their Always Liked MV here -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqP9lrbDfbk
And if you like what you see, go to the SuperGirl2009 youtube page to dig up more dirt on the group. http://www.youtube.com/user/SuperGirls2009#p/u
Do you think they have a chance in hell or breaking out anywhere besides China? With a language resume like that, they could go anywhere, but considering the concept is sugary overdone kpop, I don't know. Depends on who's producing them, and that I don't know. :<

The bolded part is why I think not. If they could get one of Korea's better producers to take them under their wing, possibly.

They really are wannabe. One of them loooks reaalllllly Korean. I guess she probably is. I wonder how the girls were picked out. Is it like Jun Jun and Lin Lin kind of thing? Recruiting them from their respective countries and bringing them to China and forcing them to learn Chinese?
Oh, just read the allkpop thing. Seems like that's how it is. It would have been cooler if they picked half Chinese girls from abroad considering how expansive China's immigrants are.
The half whitie is a really ugly version of Leah Dizon. I can't look at her. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I wish I could say I was interested. If they start releasing Cantonese songs, that would be different. But they won't.
Also, wonder how well they're doing in China at least. When I think about it, MM really deserved to flop in China. After "trying" to break the market there, MM got like ~4 media appearances there top.

And I was thinking to myself "would it sound racist if I call them 'very korean looking' ?". haha
Aynway, that's what came to my mind immediately.
The girls do look nice though, but I'm not into chinese singing. (except for Samui Hui of course)

They are really cute in general, and the song is actually quite nice. It's not especially exciting but it's a nice mellow-ish feel good song. I downloaded it, so that says something. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I am not generally very fond of C-pop with exception of Faye Wong, so this is a really pleasant surprise.
