So, since I am so in love with 2NE1, I decided to give other YG artists a chance. GD and TOP have been doing things, and despite knowing nothing about BIG BANG, I love them.



THIS VIDEO.



There's sexy ladies and puppies and bubble wrap and TOP reading Mama Makes Up Her Mind. The entire video is gifworthy (and has been made into gifs already over at omona and tumblr). I'll spare you and stick with a reasonable number:











High High ruled too. In fact, I liked the song much more. The MV really can't compare, though.

GD&TOP’s third title track, “Knock Out“, has been banned from all three public broadcasting networks.



KBS, MBC, and SBS stated that the reason for the ban was because the title and lyrics used slang, which they believed would damage the national psyche.

One of their other promo tracks for this cycle got banned also, but only by one channel. Hilariously, I understand this being offensive far more than I do being scandalized be the words "Knock Out."

...another title song “Don’t Go Home” has also been banned from MBC.



This morning, Big Bang’s company YG Entertainment (YGE), said to Moneytoday Starnews, “about getting “Knock Out” banned, we were a bit expecting that to happen, so we are not planning to request the retrial, but we are a little surprised at MBC’s decision about “Don’t Go Home”.”



Continuing to speak, “We don’t think “Don’t Go Home” has any problems, so as the other broadcasting stations, KBS and SBS didn’t ban it. Meanwhile we were surprised at MBC’s decision banning “Don’t Go Home”. but considering MBC have their reasons too, we’ll request for a retrial politely this time.”



YG also added, “We think TOP’s rap in “Don’t Go Home” is considered to be the problem, but please understand that they’re just lyrics.” They also emphasized, “We are not modifying the lyrics in the process of requesting for the retrial.”



TOP’s rap consists,

You should check out Big Bang. I still haven't heard all of their stuff, but random stuff they do is pretty great.

Did you see the collab they did with 2NE1 when 2NE1 first debuted? Start there for an intro/segue. My favorite song of theirs is Lies.

Following GD&TOP, Seungri released his mini-album called "VVIP." AKP has kindly listed all the tracks and so forth so click here if you want to listen to them.



I personally think the album is alright, it's just that I find some songs slightly boring and well American pop sounding? But one of the tracks features IU so that's pretty cool <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

"Lollipop" was really my exposure to Big Bang. I had that song on repeat for HOURS. My grandmother was probably ready to claw her ears off.

My first song was "Haru Haru, though" (ironic, I know), but I really wasn't *that* into it. I like it some now, but it's still nothing compared to "Lollipop."

Other choice songs (in my opinion) are "Hallelujah," "So Beautiful," and their entire Japanese language album.

Big Bang is resuming Japanese activities in April. Single, then a little tour. Should be good. :)

Neither of them do it for me. GD would seem like potentially less of a jerk than TOP, but I could still see him being kind of one. Also he's tiny; I would not feel like a delicate lady.



TOP has a good voice, though, I will give him that much. That's still not enough for me to put up a poster of him in my room and leave him lipstick kisses like sadude does.
