I edited my first post with lots of video goodness and my recommendations. Of course my recommendations might not suit everyones tastes because I love everything. ;D



IU is very good when she's singing slow songs, but she's so damn cute when she does the fast upbeat stuff so it's a toss up if you like her slow stuff or her fast stuff. She's very versatile, though I can see her career heading into mainly ballads when she's older because she's not the best of dancers.

I love her, but from what I've seen of the fans (at least the Western ones), they're pretty crazy. I try to just avoid them.



I really liked "Lost&Found", the first album she did best, but they're honestly all very enjoyable. She does a really good job doing covers and plays guitar quite well, and sings live really well too, so it's worth checking out Youtube for that stuff. She was on Music Travel LaLaLa as well. Definitely one of my favorite new artists (well, "new", she debuted in 2008, but that's pretty new for me).



And she's the new host of Chin Chin!

I wouldn't know about anything like that, but here's some stuff I looked at recently that had IU in 'em:



super secret upload! IU doesn't actually do all that much in this, until she starts singing about 8 minutes in. She sure looks cute though. The hosts are quite funny so you might want to watch what goes before, but probably not.



Raindrops. I think she sounds a bit rough here, but the Lulu-style hair really looks great.

Anyway, these are awesome songs. The title track's ending is really eerie, and quieting as it just sorta stops but it doesn't work very well once you add it to your music list since it just sorta jumps to the next song on my iTunes so it's like woah.

I've never heard of their agency before, but maybe they're going the UFA route.

You know, recycling sets and costumes with just enough changes to call them "new"...

Can anyone explain to me the dynamics between LOEN Entertainment and other companies, specifically Nega Network? I ask because I was under the impression IU, Brown Eyed Girls and Sunny Hill were all under the same agency, since they cross over a lot as other artists would within their agencies. I understand that LOEN distributes Nega Network, but according to Wikipedia they also distribute Cube, Pledis, and JYP. Wonder girls and 4minute aren't exactly parading through Sunny Hill teasers, so I was just curious. [/offtopic]



If they are recycling things that are as good as the last few IU and Sunny Hill releases have been, I honestly have no problems. I feel like BEG are in this "similar style" group too (especially since Midnight Circus was a BEG song originally or something).



All 3 artists' recent releases have been well-produced, solid musically, and packed with atmosphere. Feel free to keep it up, LOEN, I'm cool with you re-using a backdrop now and again. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' />

The stuff I heard from her reminded me a lot from the A Pink stuff.

It's the same somewhat soothing ("boring" at times) music imho.
