Jun Hyo Sung - 전효성 - Leader.
She started out on another label (Girl Entertainment or something?) and was supposed to be in another group, but ended up here. I don't really know her all that well to be honest, but I really like her style. She's definitely a good singer too. Oh, she also doesn't blink. Yeesh...
Zinger - 징거 - Rapper.
Despite having a rapper, this group is actually not that rap-focused, aside from the first single anyway. But she made her mark on a show called Bouquet, when she imitated Hyuna's dance from Change, hilariously. Apparently that show now has a regular segment that they call Zinger Moment (really good name as well). (EDIT: Fixed the video link--thanks Ap!)
Song Ji Eun - 송지은 - Strongest vocalist.
Ji Eun kind of like the "serious" member, I guess, but definitely one of my favorites, because... well: this kinda thing.
Han Sun Hwa - 한선화 - Youngest ("Maknae").
I know SunHwa mostly from the Invincible Youth variety show, where she is known as "white paper" because she's just so stupid (mostly exhibited in lack of factual knowledge and inability to multiply). It's really quite jarring to see her all serious like this, actually <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
Personally, I wasn't really into Secret after their frankly horrifying first single, but since then I started watching a lot of Korean variety shows, and one thing that happens a lot is they perform dances or parody songs. On Invincible Youth of course one of the members of Secret appeared, and so I got to hear Magic quite a lot, as that was their new single at some point during that show's airing. I didn't even associate it with the same Secret that made the tepid hiphop track from before, but eventually I just had to download the song and that's when I realized it was the same group. I absolutely love Magic, even if they say "massic" or "mazik" or whatever. It's a great funky song that's well constructed and has a really cute "ama-ama-ama" hook.
There's a scandal (if you can call it that) about their new single, Madonna, being too similar to Magic. The response from TS to the scandal has basically been along the lines "1) it's different enough, sheesh and 2) we're trying to establish their style", which I think is a great response. I certainly hope they continue in the trend set by the two leading songs. Personally, I think they're somewhat similar, but it's not like I can't tell 'em apart. I don't love it quite as much as Magic (yet), but I still think it's a solid song. The style is just really cool to me.
