i wish that ppl would understand that this video is directed towards little black girls who have been ashamed and teased about their thick, kinky, natural hair. If you cant relate to it then u just cant. dont knock others b/c they understand what the song meant. Sesame Street has been catering to all races even black but i think this video spoke directly to one particular kind of child and the effect can be amazing. I applaud Sesame Street. I wish they had this video when i was growing up.
