I bought the CD+DVD set last night at Kinokuniya. The one with the live SDW track. I just listened to the CD all the way through. I like it a lot. I don't quite know how to describe it. But she's going back to the kind of songs that play to her strengths. It's just her and the song, not a lot of fancy background music and sounds. Just good strong singing and solid melodies. I need to listen a few more times to see what I can compare this with. But it's different enough from her last few albums to really stand out for me. And now I need to watch the videos.

Okay, I'm not at all crazy about the videos (esp. not the ones with her now-husband). But I would like to hear these songs performed in concert, so I presume they'll be featured on her next concert DVD. I don't see anything upcoming on CDJapan. Does anyone here have any idea what to expect in terms of a concert DVD featuring the songs from this album?

My guess would be the DVD from her recent COUNTDOWN LIVE (though you can get the livestream/cable crap versions now). Love Songs hasn't had a tour yet (hell, she just finished her Rock n Roll Circus tour); I don't even think one's been announced.
