Matsuura Aya - Click You Link Me

Several previews are already out for Aya's upcoming album, some of which were shared in the H!P spam thread. But hey! This is the first time Aya has done something in a bajillion years so she deserves her own thread. Even though, as expected, her album seems kind of boring.



To make it slightly more interesting, Up Front's youtube channel is putting the songs to photo slideshows so you can at least be impressed by how gorgeous Ayaya is.

Only One - Kind of boring, but pleasant to listen to?



Yokohama Rondo - The photos they put this to are amazing. The song is...well okay it's better than the other ones.



The Difference - This video creeps me out. The song is more upbeat, and it's kind of nice how they're giving her back up singers to give it a real lounge feel. But once you get to at the dialogue in the middle it just gets ridiculous. Nappy hurr y'all!

I'm guessing Namida and Watarasebashi are going to be "new Aya" self covers. Which is....lame since they were already fairly "mature" ballads.

At first I thought that it would be just some more slow, kinda boring songs but I gave them a listen and tbh, the songs aren't bad and Ayaya is just SUCH a good singer that she turns the good songs into great songs, definitely worth a download from itunes imo.

I love this retro look and vibe. I loooovvee it. She's gorgeous of course but the entire thing is just all so beautifully presented.



I've given up on psycho hyper narcissist robot-idol Ayaya and am just happy she is making music that fits who she is (a boring old lady, but a classy one). Cheers to her. Her music is good for a Sunday afternoon walk, maybe.

When she was doing her idol thing, I was like "She's wasted on this and needs to be doing something like jazz," but now I wish she'd put out a completely fun light pop album. At her final HP performance during the Elder Club graduation, she proved that she' definitely still got it in her.



Either way, already ordered the album and love the retro cover.

The Watarasebashi will at least be different since it's Moritaka + Matsuura.

The re-make of her old songs are jazzier, but imo a bit more boring.
