AKB48 19th Single - Chance no Junban

PV preview here. It's not so great (pretty cheap looking, weirdly), but the full song's alright. Senbatsu is pretty all over the place because it was decided in a jankenpon competition. I really like this B-side, probably more so than Chance no Junbun itself.

I love this song and release, it's always nice to get away from the Maeda-Takahashi-Yuko type lead that always happens. It's also pretty cool to see girls who don't get represented a lot (I love me some Maeda Ami!).



The PV is a bit bland, but I think it's a return to the more simple PVs of the past.

Seriously, I see your point, but it feels like AKS is treating this release as throwaway and cheap, which is a shame because it does give the more unknown girls a chance to shine. I mean, the song's grown on me (it's certainly better than Ponytail to Shushu and Heavy Rotation), but it's still a fairly typical idol pop song, and they managed to shove as much Acchan as they could into the PV. Still, it's almost nice that I don't even know the whole senbatsu. Uuchii is really sweet and cute and deserves her spot at the front.



Also, Kurumi no Dialogue from the Type A release. Not bad at all.

I'm glad that 3 out my 4 Undergirl Oshimens got to be in this single. (Ami, Sumire, and Haruka (Ishida))

I like it better than Heavy Rotation (whose song I disliked immensely) but I'm not impressed with it :/ I do agree that AKS seems to be treating it as a throwaway though. Come on, other girls are in the single, let them have that time to shine <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':dance:' />

Team K's song is about an epic jail break. Tomochin looks really good in the PV. If she always looked this hot, I'd be her fan.

The single still sold 471,242 copies in the first day, btw. It doesn't even matter if they're treating this like a throwaway single.

I really liked Team A's song and PV for some reason, same with Team K.



team B's, on the other hand... somehow I wasn't surprised that they did a cute song.



and congrats on the sales! though I wonder how the weekly ones will come out...

Team K comes out on top with Alive. Song + video = superior. I also really like Team A's~ I find it a lot more catchy than a lot of AKB's normal singles.



Team B though~~~ that was weak.... CUTE but weak.

I bought the A and K version of this single, it's pretty badass. Of course the fact that Team A's song is basically about losing ones virginity (lol) makes me a bit sad that it's my favorite song and PV, but whatever.
