You're busier than me, doing more blogs... So I think I'd be fine prepping them... since she doesn't really use any image emoticons, it doesn't take very long

Thank you! Once I'm done with my exams for this semester - which will be by end of this month - I'll have lots of free time once again. So if it's not too much, you can take over Chisaki until then.

Re: Lets work on blog!project! - ARCHIVED - SEE FIRST POST FOR IMPORTANT INFO AND LINKS
OtakebiBoy, regarding this Maria post, the "Kisuidasuwa: キスイダスワ" is Suwasuwa speak for daisuki, the same as how the utogaria is for arigatou. So they should be "Thank you-suwa~" and "I love Lindy-suwa~" respectively. Ogata Haruna explained the Suwasuwa speak in one of her posts.
Also, another small mistake! The same that Michirin has been making, so don't fret. Please look to the quoted post to see the issue.

@ Michirin, I noticed when posting the drafts of the posts you prepped that you're adding the page URL instead of the permalink URL on the posts//
The old posts get bumped down the pages everytime a new post is made so the links start leading to the wrong posts
for an instance this post

instead of here: http://ameblo.jp/tsubaki-factory/entry-12044300434.html(permalink)
I can change the links on the few Kiki entries with the problem, but I thought I should point it out just in case//

You've done it on a few, but also used the entry link a few times too, so I'm not sure if it was a mixup or not, but I thought I'd let you know!

Re: Lets work on blog!project! - ARCHIVED - SEE FIRST POST FOR IMPORTANT INFO AND LINKS
I was wondering, WadaSaku uses song titles as her post titles - should I leave them as-is in romaji, or translate them...?
They usually have something to do with what she says in the post, but translating them might lose the reference they're making > <

I think it would be best to leave them as is, with a little translator's note at the end explaining how she used the song title as a reference to something in her post.

I see what kisuida is now that you pointed it out and I updated that one. Shame on me for not noticing that the first time. Lol I spent a while trying to google kisuida and tried breaking it into pieces (kisu + ida, kisui + da, etc), but it didn't occur to me that they would just be the backwards versions of those common words everyone knows
I get what you mean about the urls (sometimes clinking on the link goes to the most recent blog entry instead of the old/correct one), but I'm not quite sure what the difference is on ameblo. I copy and paste the url on the same page (which usually contains "entry" and not "theme"), so I don't know which link goes to the original blog and which links to the most recent or how to fix that
Maybe you can give me the url next time (just the url is fine, I'll prep the rest). I just want to see what it's supposed to look like

Re: Lets work on blog!project! - ARCHIVED - SEE FIRST POST FOR IMPORTANT INFO AND LINKS
Basically, when you link the url make sure it always says /entry... rather than /theme.... To get to the entry one, if you are looking at the post through the theme link, click on the link that is the title of the respective blog post to get it. Eg:
ameblo. jp/mm-12ki/theme-10086725508.html currentlylinks to Maria's post entitled "『野球BAN♪*゚』牧野真莉愛". But tomorrow or the next day, when she updates her blog it will instead display that entry. By clicking on the very title I quoted, it'll take you to the page for that individual entry, which is ameblo. jp/mm-12ki/entry-12047033988.html (I remove the http and put a space to keep it from condensing so you can see)

Re: Lets work on blog!project! - ARCHIVED - SEE FIRST POST FOR IMPORTANT INFO AND LINKS
Hey, I just want to consult someone about a line:
今日はファイターズ、マリンで試合でした
I'm thinking she's saying 「今日はファイターズ対マリーンズの試合でした」, Today was a Fighters vs Marines match
but she wrote マリンで as if Marin/Marine is a place or a stadium. Is that this place: https://www.google.com/search?q=%E8%82%A9%E3%81%90%E3%82%8B%E3%81%BE%E3%81%97%E3%81%A6&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=QVC%E3%83%9E%E3%83%AA%E3%83%B3
the QVC Marine Stadium in Chiba?
I didn't publish the draft yet. Was just wondering if anyone knows where this is.

Yeah she says it as a place. I would assume it's that place? I know nothing about baseball.

Re: Lets work on blog!project! - ARCHIVED - SEE FIRST POST FOR IMPORTANT INFO AND LINKS
Hey, everyone, I'm having a lot of stuff going on in my personal life (and a lot of drama with it, too) and I'm not going to be able to translate for a few weeks. By July 20th, things should have settled down more and I'll be able to get back to doing them. Pyokiyo, I would definitely appreciate it if you can keep prepping in the meantime! I will do my best to catch up on the backlog once I am able to.

Michirin I have a request. (if I can have one)
You seem to be interested in translating Fujii Rio and Hirose Ayaka posts. The point is, those two don't have their major debut posts translated yet. If you can remember Saya volunteered to translate them but it seems that she hasn't got time to do all the remaining KF posts up till now.
If you would be interested in translating those two I believe that she would not mind it because she would have only Nomura left.
PS: Whether Saya or michirin would like to translate some post in the near future I re-post the links so they won't need to search for it long.

Thank you, Saya!

Almost done! http://blog-project.net/wp-admin/post.php?post=234001&action=edit&message=10
except one line towards the bottom:
努力をせず結果が出ると傲りになる
What is 傲りになる? It seems it means to be proud, but that doesn't make sense here
If you don't put in hard work/great efforts and you still get results to come out, it seems that you shouldn't be proud (due to lack of effort), not the other way around
Unless it means you should be proud of getting good results despite not putting in any effort, but she wouldn't say that because it contrasts what she says a few lines later about hard work is always important

Re: Lets work on blog!project! - ARCHIVED - SEE FIRST POST FOR IMPORTANT INFO AND LINKS
It is somewhat contradictory at first, but it "If you don't put in effort and get good results despite that, be proud" is what it is. See, 傲りになる doesn't mean "become proud" in the POSITIVE sense, it means the same as 慢心, which means "conceited" and "arrogant." The whole thing together basically says if you put in hard work and get good results, you'll become confident, if you don't work hard but get good results, you'll become arrogant, if you don't work hard and don't get results, you'll become regretful, and even if you work hard and don't get good results, you'll have gained experience.

Hey Taylor, I actually prepped those posts for you. You should be able to find then in the drafts? I hope?
Re: Lets work on blog!project! - ARCHIVED - SEE FIRST POST FOR IMPORTANT INFO AND LINKS
Hey guys, I really hate to do this again considering I was finally back on track, but I am dealing with some super serious stuff in my personal life right now (hence why I didn't even make it on here to say anything until today), so please stop prepping Sayuki and Sakura for the time being, unless someone else wants to translate them in the meantime. (I definitely want them back though, I just have no idea how long what's going on is going to go on and don't want a huge backlog waiting for me when I get through it).

Sorry to hear you're going through some rough times :(
I hope you'll be back soon!

No worries, Yuzu. I'll be here when you're ready to start again. Hope things will end up being okay!
