There's a lot of people who will probably fly in for the concert as well.

Anyone know if the fanclubs were bulk buying tickets this time? Soshified in particular screwed a lot of people over and kept them from getting tickets to SM Town last year (and then there were a ton of no shows so quite a few seats were left empty).

Well, the distribution for this particular concert was limited to NYC area only... so even if you were going to fly in for the concert, you would have had to come in a week before the concert and make the lines for the ticket hand outs...

It was also limited for 2 tickets per person so bulk buying or claiming of tickets was practically impossible.

Kpop is huge here.

Oh, I see. I thought they were distributing online as well.

Also, don't underestimate the power of fanclubs. You weren't allowed to bulk buy tickets last year either, and they still did.

Yeah, there's all kinds of accusations towards the organizers... distributors pocketing tickets and such.

Ah I wanted to go so bad :(

Sorry some of you didn't get tickets.

My friend got me mine from one of the vendors in NJ and she said there was no one there.

Is anyone else going to this tomorrow? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

This looks like it's turning into a clusterfuck. Shame.

Enjoy your time there though, those of you who are getting to go. :)

Clusterfuck is a good word for it.

Just got home. There was like NO organization, major equipment malfunctions and you didn't even need a friggen ticket in the end. You could have just showed up and watched from the sidelines and have had a fine vision. We actually ditched our seats to watch from the sides so we had more leg room and better viewing.

The performers were awesome though. So were the Korean meats on a stick.

All the entertainers were great but the real stand outs to me were 4 minute, Shinee, and 2pm.

4minute was amazing. They move their bodies in crazy ways~~ And all have pretty singing faces. You know when you are trying to hit certain notes, your face scrunches up or your get porn star mouth? They have it down to an art and always look really pretty no matter what.

I am not normally into the boy bands but 2pm was pretty friggen awesome too. They did flips and eye candy things. Most of them spoke really great English too!

SHINee's group dancing was totally in sync with one another. They were really pro too! I don't think I'll actually bother looking them up further or anything because it's not my cup o' tea, but they were really great live performers. I was really impressed~!

Then.. we have the oposite end of the spectrum.... the Village People. It's not that THEY were bad, but I just felt really bad FOR them. Not only did they not belong in the line up what so ever, they had a lot of technical problems. Their CD skipped, and it threw the "policeman' off beat. THEN when they started up YMCA, the CD was beyond repair and they had to leave the stage. They also talked about Japan in the "techincal downtime" and the crowd got kinda quite. I think they were oblivious to the fact that Korea and Japan are not best friends. SOOO YAH. Just felt really bad for them....
