They learned SO much when they were in Japan. Like how to make a video without using a lot of money! :D It's very Japanese in the way it was done.

MOVING ON~ I actually like Pandora. I got so pissed when KARA when cutesy after Sunghee left, although it was probably for the best considering their vocal situation without her was dismal at best (Seungyeon is not a terrible singer, but she's nowhere near the other girl group's power vocals like Taeyeon, Ye-eun & Sunye, Hyorin, Luna, etc. And hey, she wasn't SUPPOSED to be the power vocals, so it's not her fault.) and then I got even MORE pissed when I was promised sexy awesomeness for Lupin which turned out to be a major disappointment, but Pandora is actually kind of fucking awesome. I can jam to it all day. I'll just avoid the lives and pretend Goo Hara, Nicole and Jiyeon can sing.

I actually also like Pandora a lot, and I'm not generally a big Kara fan. It's catchy.

I like Pandora too. I don't really know music terminology but I love the background synth-piano-sound in the verses (it also appears at the very start of the song in a more synthy fashion.) The chorus is a bit underwhelming in terms of catchiness but I still like the song overall.



I also liked Step, and the japanese version of Mister was really awesome as well. But before that you have to go all the way back to Break It (one of my favorite K-Pop tunes ever) to find a Kara song I really like. I guess it was mostly due to the shift into the cutesy realm that turned me off, but it looks like they've been moving away from that recently.

Nicole and Jiyoung are possibly leaving Kara. Based on the article, it seems that Nicole is definitely leaving sometime around January as she decided not to renew her contract, and Jiyoung is still debating whether to pursue her singing career or education instead.
 
To be honest, I'm not a super huge fan of Kara, but I did like they're latest release. And I think it's kind of sad that this would happen considering all the disputes that they had with DSP a couple years ago.

For me Kara is Seungyeon, Hara and three background dancers, so I don't care if they're in the group or not.
However, it would probably be shit for the group dynamics.

I was so 'busy' looking at how this K4R4 turned out that I forgot about Nicole and Jiyoung, then almost at the end of the song I realize that Jiyoung is not around anymore and now the chorus isn't giving me a good vibe haha. And btw am I the only one who keeps hearing A DIFFERENT SONG at the 'ireohke~' part on each chorus? Like I have heard that somewhere...
