Morning Musume v.10

Today in Japan is the 29th. The 29th is the day we say hello to our new Musume at the Budokon concert which starts around 6pm Japan Time.



This thread is for the purpose of talking about the new members since auditions are over.

Because I'll just end up splitting it from the audition thread anyway I thought I'd give you a starting point for the discussion. And more time for me to squee over new members is a bonus for me.

Wow, this seems extremely fast. I haven't followed the auditions, but give me the long and short of it; any chance the new meat could be good singers?

Only if Tsunku lets Karin in... A couple of the audition girls have potential but none of them would be leading any singles in the beginning.

But I don't care what people say, I need and crave a big Morning Musume with lots of new blood. I love me some new blood.

That said, I want a huge Morning Musume again full of lots of things for me to go "Awww" over, and if there absolutely must be baggage members, give them the Rika treatment of more screentime than lines please. No more Koharus.

And as a jewish fan, I actually did the same - asked someone good (which is Miyamoto) for the new year of the jewish calender.

Wow you're right -- we find out in a few hours!! Time has really flown. I can't believe it has been...how many months? since we first heard of 9th gen.



I think the people we all pointed out in the old thread have a high chance of selection. I don't have any particular favorites, but I did think the 16 year old was very pretty.

I am not sure if I am desensitised to Ai-less Musume after such a huge outro, or if I've become comfy with it as though all of this seeing-off has been so dragged out it seemed it would never end.



I'll miss Ai. I hope the next generation is at least half good, this is the first time I've actually forced myself not to watch the auditions all that much like I tell myself to do everytime.

I had a dream where they announced the winners and I started crying because they didn't let Karin in and Sayumi came over to comfort me and ask what was wrong, but since I can't speak Japanese Al was there to tell her that Tsunku was a douchebag for not letting Karin in and Sayumi fully understood and agreed and we all asked Tsunku why he was a douchebag and he said because he had BIGGER plans for Karin. But I just called him a Puppet and a loser. And now I'm up at 4 in the morning because I couldn't sleep. Feels like god damn Christmas, and all I'm waiting for are some Musume.

All of them where who I thought would get in but, no Sara?!?! I think I jinxed her getting in the group because I was worried she was looking kinda blah when they had her do the recording portion of the audition and they were going to not let her pass based on that. Anyway, she's probably going to be back as an Egg.
