Hm, I was hoping it'd have a bit more thump to it, but the song by itself is solid. I'll probably hear more bass going on with headphones and it'll probably be fine then.
The PV was nice, but the use of an Akon rap AND Yubin rap was a bit weird. Akon should've had a different presence in the song IMO, like that one guy who collaborated with BoA for I Did It For Love.

I love it!! It was slightly weird with Akon there but I don't care. The video concept is interesting but the intro was kinda long. Better than The Boys though because there was actually speaking and not just dramatic music. Love ittt! So flawless. I think having Sohee open the song was a really bad decision, though. I love her American audiences will be literally offended by her lack of singing ability, especially from a group just starting out. Korean audiences know there is always a member added purely for looks and are pretty okay with that, but with a large number of pretty decent singers in pop right now (Gaga, Beyonce, hell, even some of the Disney kids), I can't see there being a positive reaction to Sohee's singing. But hey, people listen to Kesha, so you never know.

Sohee's voice isn't bad though? She's no powerhouse but she has a really stable voice. Go check out fancams of their solo concert the other day, or any of their performances from Be My Baby or Like This. This ain't the So Hot days anymore.

I'm not hating on Sohee, but her voice is really, really weak and airy, especially in comparison to Yenny and Sunye. She definitely doesn't sing with proper support and it's always been super distracting to me. Her voice is hardly tone deaf, it's just really, really thin.

I love WG, but I find this kind of awkward. The choreography isn't especially impressive, and the intro made it more cheesy than anything else. I dunno. I liked the song well enough in the movie, but somehow it's less impressive as a stand-alone track.

Wonder Girls held a Japanese Showcase. They sang Nobody in Japanese, and Tell Me, So Hot, and Be My Baby in Korean. Also Sohee is perfect and sings wonderfully, and even Lim stayed on pitch pretty well. I'm proud of her.

I was in the front row of the concert with the glowstick! Here have my copy paste fanaccount from Tumblr.
So I took a greyhound down from my college at 11am on Wednesday and got to NY around 3:30 so it was a long trip, especially since I came back at 12:30am and got back to my dorm at 5:30 T.T but I got there and met up with Felix (dokoi) and Alberto. Then we went over to the theater and got in line and had some great conversations with other WFs. I actually started in the middle of the line and this guy comes up to me and says, ‘you’re wearing red, you’ve been upgraded to VIP’ he pulled me out of line, had me take a picture with a Wendy’s coupon and then I got to go stand in the first row.
If any of you watched the stream, I was the girl in front with the red dress and the glowstick!
Yeeun: she kept making eye contact with me and giggling everytime I fangirled over any of them. She asked me what I want to do when I grow up so I told her teach English in Korea, and we pointed at each other during Nobody. And I touched her hand after the concert when they were reaching into the crowd.
Yubin: oh my gosh after the concert every was like ‘Yubin loved you’. She kept making eye contact and smiling to me, we pointed at each other during Nobody.
Lim: Got some smiles from her too, and when she started making hearts at people, I actually made one at her first and she made one back and then to the other people there.
Sohee: BE STILL MY BEATING HEART. I was the one who shouted ‘I love you Sohee’ (the marry me was by a girl I met in line, she was cool) and Sohee smiled and did like a tiny bow. And I kept lipping ‘I love you’ to her and her eyes would get really wide and she’d smile. She pointed at me during the first ‘hey miss’ in girls girls and we pointed at each other during Nobody. Right after they finished I stretched out my arm to give her letters my best friend and I wrote and she made a <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> face and took them and scurried off stage.
They were really so amazing, they all kept coming over to me and giving me so much love because I think they could see how much I truly love them. I got smiles and points and hearts and it was just amazing. I’m even more in love with them than I was before.
And they are so beautiful oh my gosh. Like no picture you have ever seen of them could possibly do justice to how stunning all of them are. And they’re SO talented. Let me just say they all sound so much better live than they do on shows.
Last night was just the best night I could have ever asked for, and I’m so blessed and thankful that I was able to go. And I’m still in shock that I was that close to them!

Why do so many think she'll retire? I'm hoping she stays in the group and continues being badass. Though getting pregnant would suck (for the group).

I feel like a lot of us think she'll want to settle down a bit. I mean, her parents died when she was young and she never had a very stable life. If she gets pregnant she's definitely not going to leave her kid because she wouldn't want them to go through the same things she did. And if she moves to Haiti with James, I feel like she's going to want to stay there and help.

Yeah, he's still living in Haiti, right? I somehow doubt that she'd want to be a long-distance newlywed like that, and her schedule is so hectic she wouldn't really have time for anything.
I'm thrilled for her. She's one of those idols you only ever hear wonderful things about, and she's been through so much. I think this is wonderful, and I want to high five her for powering through and doing what's best for her despite it being kind of unprecedented.

JYP says SunMi isn't returning. And most of the comments responding to that rumor were very negative. People don't like the idea of her returning after she left during their hardest time AND got special admission into a very exclusive university. That she hasn't attended since early this year.

Yeeun is going to be in a musical!! I think it starts in April? I don't remember. But it's The Three Musketeers and she's playing the female lead.
But before we were told there was no possibility of subunits, but now they've changed it to say there are! Which I'm going to guess means a Yubin Lim rap duo, and a Yeeun solo album, because Sohee really has no interest in singing.
Q: This coming year there will be several artistes under JYPE who are born in the zodiac year of snake.
A: 2AM Jokwon, 2PM Wooyoung and WG Sun & Yenny were all born in the year of the snake, and so they will take on a broader range of activities this year. Of cos, for Sun, she will be embracing one of life’s most important event - marriage, and will be focusing on her family life in the short run and we will fully support her. As for the others, for e.g. Yenny will be participating in the musical “The Three Musketeers” while Wooyoung is looking at suitable scripts. For Jokwon it is needless to say as he is an all-rounder.
Q: Everyone is still curious about what will happen after Sun’s marriage.
A: The newly-wed couple will of cos need to be together, and the agency will be supportive of their decisions. The couple will need to plan for their future while the other members will showcase their talents through different areas of solo activities.
Q: Can we expect to see Sun as a WG member again?
A: That is a definite yes because she is still a WG member. If there are good and suitable projects, Sun will be part of it, and we will bring it to the fans.
Q: What can we expect from WG members solo activities?
A: We are in the midst of preparing all kinds of solo activities and we are also planning for sub-unit activities. The earliest confirmed piece of news is Yenny’s debut as a musical actress, while the plans for the other members have yet to be cast in stone, but there is a possibility of singing and acting.
