When I think of winter songs, I always haveYuki no Hana by Mika Nakashima on my list. Just listening to it makes me feel like it's winter again. :) Ah, it seems there is a cover by Gackt too.

A recent addition is, of course, Fuyuzora no Hanabi. One of my favorite songs from this year.

Hm, I just realized I associate winter imagery songs with Japan, but Christmas songs are english aside from a couple of Japanese songs.

I'm in love with Il Volo, so here's a melody on youtube. The arrangements aren't that great, but I like the sound of their voices so I don't mind. In that vein, of course I give love to Josh Groban, Andrea Boccelli, ect ect.

Bruce Springsteen does a great Santa Claus is coming to town, as does the Jackson Five.

My goddess Judy Garland with her rendition "Have yourself a merry little Christmas". I like the Carpenters' version too.

Elvis's Blue Chistmas and I'll be home for Christmas

And it's not Christmas without the crooners of days gone by, so I enjoy the versions of the Rat Pack, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, ect ect.



Making this list made me realize I have little spanish songs, so I must find more this year.

I totally forgot to add Fuyuzora Hanabi, that one is fantastic. I love all the others you mentioned as well. My list actually seems to be really short on American Christmas music, but that's just because the majority of it is in my mom or dad's music collections, so I hear plenty of those songs during the season already. Not to mention how much of it is on the radio/in stores/etc.
