C-ute's next single, Kimi wa Jitensha Watashi wa Densha de Kitaku will be released April 18th (Hur~ Cause it's the 18th single!)

So you should listen.

They got a ballad, like a serious ballad. I can say comfortably they are the only group that I would want or could see pulling off a ballad and they do it remarkably well.

Edit: Airi stated on the C-ute blog that the single is being released on April 18th and there will be two outfits. The outfits from the New Years Greeting were for the single. (Yay~)

They'll probably get a ballad on their album too. No worries on that, ever.

I hope this gets a nice outdoor, scenic story like PV. It deserves at least that, and considering it doesn't sound remotely dance worthy it should get more budget. (One can only hope.)

The instrumental sounds a little like something Takahiro Matsumoto did on his House of Strings album. (Also happens to be the only thing I own from Tak. Hur~) I do love me some guitar.

Also, I hear lots of Chisato and Airi. :D Bonus love!

I was waiting and waiting to get news about C-ute's next single and I am so pleased with it. I totally agree with Shoujo Q it needs an outdoor and story like PV, this song deserves the proper treatment!

Anticipation, it's not a winner. Unlike this ballad which just gets more awesome every time I hear it. I really, really, truly hope the PV lives up to the song. And I so want to see this performed live with a live band and everything.

I was excited until I read "ballad"... personally I'm not a fan of many of C-ute's past ballads :/

But this sounds kinda promising, I hope they give it a gorgeous/unique PV.

I'm not sure if they mean solo as in solo cover, solo PV, or solo song. Cover presumably, but it'd be cool if they had solo versions of the song.

Yeah, but you know they're all just going to be facial close up shorts in terms of covers, so anything neck down becomes irrelevant.

And you don't see any problem with her basically looking like she walked in off the street and they took her photo, whereas the others actually look like they took part in a photo shoot?

Quite the contrary, I think Airi's outfit is a disaster! What is that, a layered tulle dress? The heavy sweater on top just makes it look like some frumpy, light thing or some PeeWee Herman, hiked-up and awkward skirt.
