Yeah, Daishi's always been ultra pretty, but it takes certain angles to really bring it out for some people. I don't claim to be a hair stylist or even remotely know fashion, but she did have incredible horrid hair.

Haha same here, that pulled back style was awful! But I've aways thought that she was pretty~

I think it's the hair color. I don't even know why, I just can't explain why else, other than makeup, she would glow so much now.


Seriously, Ayumi wasn't fug but really wasn't pretty at first, then out of nowhere she's gorgeous. I seriously think it's the hair color.

I still like it! Maybe it's just makeup then, combined with a flattering haircut.
 
It gives me much more confidence for what I could look like if I ever do something with my hair, lol.

I was just watching the Summer 2013 H!P concert and calculating people's ages when it occurred to me that Maimi doesn't turn 22 next month, she turns 22 this month...we're in February already!!!

Perfect Blue was an anime that had a fictitious group in it called, CHAM!, she was also int the anime series, Key! The Metal Idol (which had some pretty awesome music.) But the only legit non-anime group she was in was, Osakana Penguin in 1995, which she was in with Inoue Kikuko. (Another anime heavy hitter best known for being Belldandy in Ah! Megami-sama.) They released a mini-album and a single and that was about it.

"Sukeban Deka" was a TV series. PERFECT BLUE was a movie, although Iwao had a recording career outside of her voice acting, as Shoujo pointed out, plus she put out a great solo album, "Appear," in 2001. NANA is a movie also, followed by NANA 2, and Mika plays a rocker named Nana in them (they're based on the manga), but she is a recording star in her own right. Max is indeed a J-pop group formed by four girls who performed backup for Namie Amuro as the "Super Monkeys" back in the mid-90s.

Sasaki is on of the more popular members among the wota, I'd say she's the next Karin in the trainee department so chances are she'll either get her own group if she doesn't join Morning Musume or Country Musume. She was part of the 11th gen Musume auditions, didn't make it to the finals but was picked up as a trainee shortly after. You can learn more about her here. She's got a history.</div>

I don't think Rikako is super popular like Karin was, and I don't think Ruru is popular at all. They've just gotten more attention from the management.


Musubu seems like she could possibly be the new Karin. She's becoming popular, could be a strong singer, and has insect eyes like her, too, lol. But it's hard to tell how things will turn out.

Musubu's tiny (actually the shortest member at the moment) also so that is instant pedo-bait for the less than savory wota and I try not to think about that. <3
Rikako's done a lot of work, magazines, and musicals. 
 
I think we'll see at the next Trainee concert how the members fair since it's the recital.
