Whut. This is friggin' awesome.
Part of me wants to say that Mr.♂'s mind was just as blown as our own, but then he decided to claim it as his own.

That would be hilarious, but they both reference happiness, were released around the same time, and the amount of lines make convenient delicious sandwiches (with C-ute as the meat in the start, and Berryz at the end) I don't know the lyrics but pretty much everything goes with "ne~e~"
Also, if you listen to them apart, the piano in C-ute's song is definitely playing a minimal version of the hyper synth in the Berryz track intro. They probably did that to hide that it was the same thing, while hinting at the same time.
Quick, someone should rip the vocals of this and place it over Pachelbel's Canon. <img src='

Oh, I just noticed they both had synching of the lines "Amaeteru" & and later "Yume ga arushi" So, the lyrics MUST have some type of tie in. The relation of these songs would probably be somewhat apparent to those few individuals who are fluent in Japanese, and miraculously fans of both groups.
However, I fully believe that they take the framework of many old songs to make new ones. Sometimes even using the same arranger without any shame. Hi Okubo.
