I assume so. I don't really like the Mercury figure as much. Her attack face looks.... BJ-y. Maybe it'll look better in color, but from the current pictures it looks like they didn't give her angry/fierce eyes to go with the "shouting" mouth the way they did with Moon. The face with the visor looks really cool though.

One of my friends gave me a little stylus type thing that they didn't want so of course I now spend my time drawing Sailor Moon fanart on my phone and annoying people with SM fanart texts. :D
 
I suck so bad at drawing now I only do the "cutesy" style of characters though. (like <a href="http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php? ... 3">this</a>) :/ I guess it's appealing in its own way, but I miss the days I would actually do a really nice fanart like the ones I stan on DA and Pixiv.

It's a nice update from the 90s but still has those elements of 90s style.

<a href="http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php? ... ">Usagi</a> - Another example of a "modern update" that I wouldn't mind. I know it's like, BUT WHY UPDATE? If they think it looks too dated or old though, especially compared to the younger kids they would want to buy merch and the like, I think they are going to have to update the artstyle to make it less 90s looking. (I do miss the old school 80s/90s anime though. There's something very comforting about seeing it, nostalgia for the win lol)

There was a rumor floating around on twitter that the reboot would begin airing in October, but Osa-P said that it isn't true.  Osa-P did say there will be five figurines in all though.

I'm guessing those five are Sailor Moon and the inner senshi. I can't see why they aren't making all of them.

Because since this series is supposed to be a reboot, I'm sure we won't be seeing the outers for a while.

Let me tell you how figure releasing works Star, based off years of collecting experience.
 
We have their base forms being released.
When we get to "supers", we will get new forms of the released ones in their "super" forms and Chibi-Usa.
After this, we will get any sort of side character like Tuxedo Mask, maybe some villains - including ones from the first season like Beryl, maybe someone like Black Lady, maybe some sort of stupid one that makes you go "why are they releasing this!?"
They will be delayed due to whatever reasons, several months (Dec release in May for the win!)
And then, we might get one of the outers.
So save your coins, by 2017 we might have a Saturn to play with! 8O

I want a Black Lady and a Mistress 9 and I'm going to get a Tuxedo Mask and make them abuse him horribly. And then I'd get a Sailor Saturn and enshrine her in a 4 inch thick bullet proof glass case. <3

I forgot to include the "school outfit" versions, but that's more of a figma thing, and I don't think Bandai has any precedent unless you count the DBZ figures, which have separate Super Saiyan and Normal Saiyan releases.
 
I guess depending on the sales of the current Moon+upcoming Mercury will determine whether or not we get a huge number of releases.
 
I would have really prefered Figma to have the license though, they are waaaaaaaaaaay better at hiding joints than Bandai. Ugh those ugly ass joints on SM PISS ME OFF.
 
At least we may get new PVC statues, assuming that the anime is released SOMEDAY.

I'd actually really like to see Marina Kuroki participate. Her solo career needs a boost. Her first solo single was AMAZING and I want her to get another one.
