Blog/YouTube! Project

To continue with the success of Blog!Project would anyone be interested in making a digest video of weekly highlights from the girls blogs and upload it to youtube?



Wouldn't need to be super long, maybe 5-10mins.



We would need -



A presenter

A "script writer" aka the people/person who finds all the interesting things from that week and makes a script out of it

A video guy - Someone to edit and present the raw video in a professional way.



Not sure if we'd need anything else, but I think it would be very popular and definitely something we can do!

We make a video of all of the interesting/funny parts of that weeks H!P blogs, so the presenter would just need to read the translation or change it a little or w/e



I think a lot of people would watch a 5-10min video rather than spending an hour or more on a weeks worth of blogs?

It sounds like someone on camera re-reading the most interesting bits of the various girls' blogs. The idea of compiling the week's best doesn't sound bad, but why are the audio and video elements needed? There's not a whole lot of commentary or personality you can inject into other people's blogs posts...

I dunno it seems like an amazing idea in my head, but it seems I struggle to put into words what I mean, luckily others have summed up what I meant.

Exactly, and I don't think it's doomed to fail, look at blog!project and projecthello, both very successful. The members of this BBS can create amazing things when we work together



So let's aim to get a text version going first then?



Either someone who reads all the blogs takes all the interesting/funny bits of that week OR the translators themselves can leave the interesting/funny bits from the blogs they do.

No one has volunteered to come up with content. Can I volunteer Al so I can feel his Editor title at blog!project is justified? <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /dance.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':dance:' /> I've been wanting to come up with some kind of non-translation corner for random bits of pieces at blog!project. One of the posts I thought of was promoting MM-BBS mm-bbs style. Another was how to write comments on the girl's blogs. That's all the ideas I came up with.. which is really sparse.. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' />

I just don't think there's enough content in it. There's maybe one post a day worth mentioning while all the rest are standard stuff.

A digest of the week is pretty much what I think would be a good thing, as well as highlighting some interesting photos.



Speaking of blog photos. When I'm going to H!O and looking through the image gallery, I always come upon interesting blog photos and I wonder where they came from. I'm not a frequent reader of EVERYONE's blog. I'm not that dedicated, but sometimes I'll run across the photo in question and "Yay, Mystery Solved!". I think something like that would also be interesting to highlight in these digests besides written content.

They also make your eyeballs bleed if you read their posts for more then a few minutes at a time. I can't unsee anything from that website a full ten minutes after I've read it. Literally, it's burned into the retina.

THIS.



Ok, let's make this a three step process.



Step One.

Text Version - Someone/anyone/group of people go through a weeks worth of blogs and quickly points out the interesting bits

- These bits are put together nicely to create a highlight blog.



Step Two.

Audio Version - We find someone with an awesome voice willing to read the blog and upload it to youtube (or wherever)



Step Three.

Video Version - We find someone with the voice, the looks and the character to perform the blog on camera.



I KNOW we can do it

The text version as a new feature of blog!project would still be awesome though!
