I hope that whoever writes the songs will actually care about the quality and the group's future.

She's one of my favorite members, but it's time and has been obvious since whenever the rock band talk started. Sayumi can go at the next concert and then we'll have a new/fresh MM.

On a more positive note, I am interested in seeing what she will be like once she joins that band and what kind of music will be produced.



If Morning Musume turns into a Riho-only act after this, then whatever. Would be an epic level of idiocy because there are SO many girls now that can be pushed to the front (Mizuki, Ayumi, Masaki, Haruka, Sakura...)

Of course, I'll never see MoMusu the same way again, but I'll still be supportive as long as we still have Sayumi, but after that, I'm not sure. The other girls just haven't really grown on me that much.

Congratulations to Reina for her ten plus years of service. Not my favorite member, but her voice played an essential role in the group's sound over the last decade.



Her band actually looks pretty cool. Can't wait to hear what they sound like. I wonder if they'll play an indirect role in H!P the same way that Buono! does.



I'm guessing Sayu will leave a year after Reina, in Spring of 2014.

Actually I'm not as excited as I thought I'd be. Probably because this means Sayu's graduation is imminent and that makes me sad. It's also just weird to think about. If Sayu ends up graduating at the end of the fall tour, Mizuki will become the least experienced member to become leader since Yuko and the youngest leader of all time.



But I'm glad that finally I won't have to listen to Reina's squeaky voice overlording the group. I never cared about Takahashi overlording because she was actually good, but Reina has especially annoyed me because she used to be good. Then on top of that her personality and lack luster performances have always irked me. I am looking forward to her rock band though. I'm hoping a different style will push her to sing in her non-grating voice again. It is weird that they don't have a drummer or bassist though.



I really don't think we're going to get stuck with the Riho show. Ideally the group will start to shift back to the days when there was no real vocal lead and everyone got at least one line per single. More realistically, we'll probably get line distribution like the Platinum Era - two main leads (Riho and probably Oda), a few girls who get a line or two, and a few girls who mostly stay in the background.

When I saw the title of the tour, I was really scared because I thought Sayu was graduating, too. I'm excited to see where MM will go from here. I'll probably be singing a different tune when Sayu leaves, though.

There were very few periods in the last 10 years that I gave a shit about her, and especially in the last 6 or 7, I really haven't cared and kinda just wished she would leave after she really started to stick out like a sore thumb in 2010. She's awkward and doesn't quite seem to belong in anything. This won't do anything for me liking the group again, but it'll at least make them look a LOT less awkward. They really should just change MM's name at this point.

I'm happy to see Reina move on too, though with every senior member graduation I'm wishing more and more that someone else had come out of the 7th or 8th gen auditions to bridge the awkward age gap.

Ugh, yeah. I mean...I can't stand Koharu or Aika but I wish they had stayed around for this very reason.

Probably Takahashi as one of them, since he uses her as his pet in just about every side project since 2003, but if the other one wasn't Maki, I couldn't even imagine who it would be, if he's strictly talking about MM.

Ap has no soul, he can't die in a fire. And I'm sure it probably is true that Maki is the third, but I never cared for Maki's voice, ever. But to each their own, right? :D



I thought Yuko and Kei had some pretty amazing voices, as far as OG's go.
