Hm I translated it for b-p. It isn't as formal as the way Anderei chose to translate it but in either translation, it is just all so sad.

Why? It's not like she's doing anything illegal, and having a normal daytime job will not change her husband.

Why? It's not like she's doing anything illegal, and having a normal daytime job will not change her husband.</blockquote>At least she wouldn't be forced to quit every time something happened.

And things will keep happening until she purges all of these scummy people from her life.

I agree with Ap here. Her life choices are hers to make up until a point. She's got a child, and in my opinion, the kid deserves some kind of stability at some point, which it doesn't appear Kago or her husband are providing.

Who knows if she'll stay with her husband.
Most importantly, she wouldn't have to depend on him and have a steady income.

Hopefully she realized that (unknowingly) teaming up with a yakuza guy wasn't a good idea.

This is fairly old news, but the charges against Kago's husband were dropped early December. However, she nor any of the other members have resumed tweeting or blogging.

She did celebrate her birthday with her friends (some of them anyway, she's got a ton of them) + daughter the other week, though. Her friend posted about it on her blog.

Mentioned in the OG thread, but this is a better place to put it, Kago has rejoined Girls Beat. Remi left and Ryouna has been performing solo under their name this entire time.

They added a new member, Momose Yui. Her talent is listed as vocalist.

This is pretty standard out in the west. They're called lyric music videos. They can be more artistic or more basic, but the budget is probably considerably less. Girls Beat is probably struggling after all the controversy.

That song is so horribly mixed. I can't wrap my head around how bad it is. I don't know if someone just over-maximized it in post-production, or if the engineer went out of his way to make every instrument sit in the same frequency range, but the end result is an annoying belt sander of noise. Those drums make me want to shove knitting needles in my ears.
