S/mileage 15th Single - ee ka!? /「ii yatsu 」

I can see what they mean by platinum era, but it's missing the violins. xD 
 
So is this going to be S/mileage's thing? One high energy song and one more ballad type song?

MV for ee ka was on Hello Station today. It's rather plain overall, standard H!P music video. But the dance is pretty cool.

I liked the dance/video and song, but now I'm really confused about the back of their skirts.

But Kana stood out the most to me, she is just too freaking adorable with that chin length cut.

I finally got around to listening to Ee Ka!? and I absolutely love it.
 
This is one of the catchiest songs that's come out so far! Meimi was awesome as usual, and Kanon sounded good, too. They all pretty much did.

Yeah the short/skirt thing going on is a bit awkward. The PV was a bit plain but the girls had lots of energy so it was better. I hadn't heard the song prior, but I'm loving the verses, not the chorus so much, but it's a good song.

Am I the only one who doesn't find the short skirt and shorts thing disturbing? I actually like it....but maybe I'm just a perv or something.


I like ee ka though with the exception of an awkward two seconds that only plays like twice in the entire song. I like how upbeat it is and Kanon, Akari, and Meimi sound great as usual.

They performed ii yatsu (around 38:56) during the Satoyama/Satoumi event. Meimi lost her voice (or something of that nature), so she wasn't able to sing.

Well I made the "mistake" of reading some if the comments here before watching and somebody said that they were confused about the back of the skirts. Plus the shorts are shiney sooo....yeah they caught my attention.

I'm not really all that surprised that someone else lost their voice, but I did not ever think in ten millions years it'd be Meimi, just because she seems to be so stable when singing.

I enjoy the song, hate some of the vocals, and think the skirts are gratuitious pandering to the lolicon crowd. Overall... my usual feelings toward most S/mileage singles, LOL.

I like Ee ka a lot! Ii Yatsu is a little generic.

Sorry.    Though it's not so creepy since it's not really underwear, I mean it's more of what they(Japanese girls) used to wear for gym.  It just kind of threw me off.
