The outfits and most of the covers are nice, but I was hoping for a bigger bag as their going out single. Depending on how the songs sound and the music videos look, I may or may not be even more upset.
And the "final single" thing definitely isn't helping the "indefinite hiatus". More like "They're really going to be gone forever, but I want to troll you with false hope" thing that Tsunku does.

Yeah, I was hoping for some consecutive releases during the tour so they could make it to 40 but that was super wishful thinking on my behalf.

I fell in love with this song as soon as it started. I love the bells, it sounds very Christmas-y.
I'm glad their last single is something I'll really like, but it's bittersweet because I'll miss them.

Romance wo Katatte is one of their best songs. So long... Dakishimete is the last song from them I remember being in love with. It's a great song to graduate with.

I'm in love with Romance wo Katatte. I love the feel of the song and the MV, too. I find it to be really pretty!
 
I also like the bit of weird lyrics with the opening lines, haha. Gave it that goofy old Berryz feel that I really loved. Old Berryz is still my favorite kind of Berryz music, but I've enjoyed Mature Berryz as well.

I hate Romance. It's the worst, most generic-ass Berryz song ever but, goddamn does Towa no Uta save this single! Such a great song. And them PV feels!

I saw it once at work and once at home and both times I choked up a little when they showed the baby Berryz.
Towa is so much a throwback to Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai. I can't wait to see the final MV version on the single.

The only thing I cried about was how generic and boring this last song of theirs was.

So long, Berryz. 10+ years that you've been on the fringe of my MM fandom and I still didn't learn your names. Except for Miyabi and Momoko, because they were in Buono.

One thing this PV showed me is that they seem like a really interesting bunch that was completely underutilized. Such a waste of potential of their group chemistry and dynamics by not making them do something, anything outside of the tired old idol formula box. What exactly I don't know, but hey, I'm just a consumer and not an idol agency manager.

I was hoping so, but they confirmed in the blogs that this was the last one. I'm guessing they'll do an album in place of a single in February or so.

They were so far ahead of #3 on the first day, they're pretty much guaranteed #2 weekly no matter how much they drop.
