Most inspiring lyrics?
I feel like...
1. I'm in a funk and need some inspirational, girl power kind of music
2. I need to practice my Japanese more
so to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, I'm trying to find kind of inspirational H!P songs to listen to as I go about the daily grind.
I know most people don't listen to the Japanese lyrics but since we have projecthello, maybe some people are aware of the messages in the songs.
So far, these are the only ones that are sort of like "go-getter" songs:
Hey Mirai
http://www.projecthello.com/momusu/mirai.html
<blockquote class="ipsBlockquote">
Life doesn't have just one answer
Results aren't everything,
but If you don't start it, nothing will happen
</blockquote>
and
Souda We Are Alive
<div>http://www.projecthello.com/momusu/souda.html</div>
<div> </div>
<blockquote class="ipsBlockquote">
Effort, the future, a beautiful star
Effort, ah ha, a beautiful star
Effort, progress, a beautiful star
Effort, peace, a beautiful star</blockquote>
And these are like 10 years old Do any of the newer songs get you productive or are they all love songs?

Re: Most inspiring lyrics?
For me it's I WISH. The song legit makes me cry whenever i hear it.
Because we have clear days
We have rainy days too
Someday you'll understand it all!

Re: Most inspiring lyrics?
I definitely agree with I WISH as well. The entire song is one big positive and realistic message that I completely loooove.
Wagamama Ki no Mama Ai no Joke (http://projecthello.com/momusu/joke.html) isn't too bad, either. It's more of a "teenager"-aimed song, but I think the general message of "I don't give a crap what you think of me, I'm just going to be me" is pretty strong.
Berryz's Ai wa Itsumo Kimi no Naka ni (http://projecthello.com/berryz/nakani.html) has a REALLY strong message. Yeah, it features love here and there, but the overall message is just one that can really speak to everyone: Love is always within you, no matter who you are, and you neither greater nor lesser than any other person, because we're all equal.
S/mileage's Ee ka!? (http://projecthello.com/smileage/eeka.html) is pretty inspiring and positive, too!
That's all that's coming to me for recent songs, but H!P is chock full of them within older songs and past groups.

Love Revolution 21
Hyokkori Hyotanjima
Lucky ChaChaCha
Shanimuni Paradise
If it doesn't have to be limited to H/P, then there's some very effective get-off-your-butt songs, like
The Offspring - Get A Job
Whenever you objectively need to get something done, but really don't want to, you give yourself three more munites, listen to this, then you get up and do it. I'd call THAT inspirational.

I was also going to say Yattaruchan. It's in my playlist of high energy rock songs that I listen to when I'm out for a bike ride.

I really like the lyrics to Buono's Independent Girl ~Dokuritsu Joshi de Aru Tame ni. It's definitely a girl power song!
