I'm guessing their stuff is going to get pushed back like CG, because a name announcement and an indies single doesn't seen likely in the span of a month. UFP took on a bit too much at once it looks like.

Apparently Shimizu Saki had a hand in naming them. Looking at that name it really doesn't help with the idea of them being the Berryz replacement group. Factory = Workshop?

Kobushi means magnolia. They said that they chose that because in flower language it means friendship and trust, and they want them to bloom beautifully like magnolia's.

Kobushi also means fist.

I think it would have been nicer as

辛夷ファクトリー

or

辛夷Factory

like the opposite of Berryz with kanji in the front.

Factory = Workshop?</blockquote>They actually said in the video that they chose Factory because they want them to take on the feelings of Berryz Koubou that has been working so hard for 11 years. Koubou=Factory. Management isn't hiding the fact that this group is Berryz's replacement.

I liked the idea for the name, as if they are inheriting the soul of Berryz Koubou, since they are sort of in the same position the H!P Kidz were back in the day.
 
The extensiveness of the Kobushi meaning might be difficult to convey, but perhaps the group will be focused on flowers, lol.
 
I was personally excited to learn that Saki and Chinami aren't leaving H!P entirely, as they were my favorites in BK even if they wont be main roles.

I would've liked them to have a name that's their own identity and not a sort of remembrance to Berryz. It shows just how hard H!P insists on clinging to the past.

I love the name of the group. I hope they get to play with a whole bunch of different styles of songs in the vain of Berryz. Have fun with this group. 
 
I just hope I can grow to like the group. Right now, aside from a few of the older trainees, I really don't know any of the girls. Especially the old TNX trainees. They seem like a good bunch of girls, so I expect good things from them overall. Should be an interesting year.

Ko-ko-bushi factory... LAHV LAHV IS SO WONDERFULLLLLL~ But no really... Some expected this group to be more "cutesy" since it doesn't have strong singers, so I have high hopes for some fun, weird songs from them. I wonder if their debut songs will be done by Tsunku or someone else? Takui with a Berryz-like song?

Since they are still in their indie stages I hope that once they go major they'll have a kick ass cohesive logo brand name to go major with.

But it's a loss that they're officially Berryz succesors, it's not their own identity.

Yeah, I'm disappointed they're basically next generation Berryz. While I liked a lot of their stuff, I don't really care for this "passing of the baton." I'd rather they have their own separate identity as a group.
