New girls are more towards the bottom because I don't know enough about them to rank them properly. Chisaki is cute but I feel like I know NOTHING about her. I can't even get a feel for her personality, even though I already have for Uta and Mai.

This time I avoided hitting the tie button to have a clear ranking. It was hard because I'll like 2 equally members for different things. It's funny though because with Maasa and Chinami, there was a time when I really liked them.

I couldn't find the kana version of 森戸知沙希's name to save my life, so there she sits whoever she is. All the Country Girls' members's names are subject to wrongness too since my Japanese has gotten super rusty.
 
I need more time to get to know the 12th gen MM girls and Country Girls because I had no clue who was who for most of the voting.

So since every group has released a single (sans Tsubaki) I wanna talk about them after their debut single, starting with...
 
===Momusu===
 
1. Maria Makino - After seeing just the Another ver. of  "Seishun Kozou ga Naiteiru", I figured she'd be the visual ace of the new generation.  She seems the most polished and watching their dance shots, she looks like she has the most snap to her dancing which is a plus from being a KSS.  Sadly, I really couldn't figure where she stands vocally amongst the other members.
 
2. Akane Haga - Maybe it's just me, but when I watch Akanechin...she exudes this serious demeanor and looks a lot more mature than maybe she knows herself.  Like the other generation mates, vocally from the new single...they're all quite invisible and that's a shame.
 
3. Haruna Ogata - I blame "Ima Koko Kara" for this because I noticed Ogata quite a lot in that PV for some reason.  Still, not sure where she'll fit, but she's quite nice to look at.
 
4. Miki Nonoka - Besides the multitude times I heard her speak English, if she didn't have that, I probably wouldn't have keyed in on her because I don't recall paying attention to her at all in any of the 4 PVs we got.
 
<b>OVERALL: </b>Visually, they were sticking out and I quickly recognized who was who...unfortunately, their debut single did nothing in terms of showing their vocal capabilities (since all they had were duet lines). 2/5
 
===ANGERME===
 
1. Mizuki Murota - Already in their debut single, Murotan is the vocal ace of the new generation.  She's done quite a lot to get there and impressed many too.  There's just something about her that works in the group and she honestly looks happy to perform with the group, so she's still one of my favorites!
 
2. Rikako Sasaki - I was surprised that Rikako and Maho got nothing in terms of lines in their debut single (whereas Murotan got two significant lines their debut).  Howerver, Rikako is the visual ace it seems due to her popularity and because "Taikibansei" had her dead in the middle quite a lot.  In time I bet she'll become one of the mains, but I think it's best left to Mizuki at the moment.
 
3. Maho Aikawa - I mean it wasn't very long for Aiai to debut and I was curious to how she sounded, but that didn't happen and she was a bit off in wherever she was (a little like Kanana when she started).  I hope this awkward phase goes away because other than that, she's still kind of an unknown to me.
 
OVERALL: A little better than Momusu with showing off their members and having Murotan be the front vocals of the 3rd generation and Rikako as the visual representation...though where would Maho be then? lol. 3/5
 
===Country Girls===
 
1. Mai Ozeki - She is definitely my favorite of the group as of their first single.  Something boyish about her is really pulling me in as well as her having my favorite color, blue.  I do like her kind of raspy/husky voice to kind of counteract all the overall cuteness that the rest of the group has as well...she's just so charming!
 
2, Uta Shimomura - Which also is the same story as Utachan.  She's REALLY charming as well and the fact that she's being pushed as the ace is quite surprising but effective, she's just a doll in "Itooshikutte Gomen ne".
 
3. Risa Yamaki - Even though she isn't the oldest thanks to Momoko, Yamakki is the odd member of the group I feel like.  She's a lot more poised and mature and doesn't scream young girl which makes sense there...her voice is nice, a bit different against the other 5 members but refreshing I say.
 
4. Manaka Inaba - Besides the Dance Club stuff, Manakan's voice doesn't really do much for me (though that "Say! Hello!" line she has is pretty epic otherwise).  Right now, she's kind of being shadowed by the rest of the group, so hopefully she catches up with me with adding her dance skills to the group.
 
5. Chisaki Morito - I really don't know why, but Chisaki just goes over my head and yet she gets more solo lines than Yamaki and Inaba :0   Made worse by the fact that Ozeki and Shimomura (and even Momoko) have such big charm points to them currently...I wanna see if she'll make a change by the end of the year.
 
OVERALL: Unlike Momusu and ANGERME, all the members got quite a lot of spotlight and solos and while they're on the rough side vocal-wise, their presence is quite worth it and Momoko doesn't get in the way 4/5
 
===Kobushi Factory===
 
1. Rio Fujii - With so much personality right from day 1, Rio has always been the underdog KSS for me and I'm so happy she was chosen as sub-leader of the group.  While she isn't a vocal lead like Rei, Ayaka, and Minami...she's a great dancer so I'm definitely keeping my eye out for her.
 
2. Rei Inoue - When they first announced the group, I had no idea what to expect from Reirei but she's got some power in her voice.  I wanna see more of her in the future because right now she's drawn most of my attention if not for Riorio.
 
3, Sakurako Wada - Not exactly the most prominent member, but she sticks out as the taller more bulkier member which is quite nice (strange to say).  Got two solos though, that's a good thing to have lol.
 
4. Ayaka Hirose - Ahhh, she's got such strong vocals and I'm sure she'll do more once KF burns a little more gas and really show her leadership skills.
 
5. Ayano Hamaura - I think if she avoids hitting her squeaky notes, she'll go up my ranking because she sung quite confidently in "Survivor"
 
6. Minami Nomura - Surprised she's gotten such a push in recent times (having a solo in "Crying" to having a lot of solos in "Nen ni wa Nen", I feel like if she continues, she'll also go up my ranking.
 
7. Rena Ogawa - I loved Renako in her KSS days and I still do, but even I got to admit most of her groupmates are FAR better in the vocal department...maybe in due time.
 
8. Natsumi Taguchi - I really don't know why she's far down as she is, but she doesn't strike me in any way.
 
OVERALL: After their debut single, every member got a moment to shine, sadly they didn't really get PVs unlike the other groups so it was slightly more difficult to gauge where they stand with me (though the recording sessions for the songs are really cute!) 3/5
 
===Tsubaki Factory===
 
Though it's too early, I decided to do some preliminary thoughts
 
1. Riko Yamagishi - She's definitely my favorite of the bunch currently but mostly because of her role in Karen na Gasshoudan and the fact her rival is Minami Nomura...who's in Kobushi Factory hmmm
 
2. Yumeno Kishimoto - She's got a nice voice, I can say that...but the only thing I notice is her tan....
 
3. Kisora Niinuma - Squeaky voice is kind of eh, but she's grown out of it so I'll leave it like that.
 
4,5,6. Kiki Asakura, Ami Tanimoto, Risa Ogata - Essentially unknown to me right now...not much of an opinion on them, just wait and see what happens.

So, with Berryz gone, Country Girls getting their major debut/first single, 3rd gen Angerme getting settled in and the factories being added (also because I saw Thea posting about the sorter on Tumblr ;3) I decided to re-sort the girls.... And wow did it change hahaha

So I thought I'd do another one after the 2nd wave of releases went through with the new girls.
 
===Momusu===
 
1. Nonaka - I think she's vocally the most stable and it shows when they were showing vocals off.  She's kind of reminded me of Kame a little bit, I hope she goes in that direction because she's got quite a lot of potential (plus her additional English skills is being used nicely!).
 
2. Haga - After watching the GRADATION DVD, Haga has really nice vocals for someone so young, it's just unfortunate they haven't really utilized it quite yet besides a spoken dialogue in Oh my wish!.  She'll become something special in the future I can bet on it!
 
3. Makino - She's decent, but she's already straining her vocals and that slightly worries me.  She's kind of in the middle and she can be manipulated to go anywhere as a vocalist I think,
 
4. Ogata - She's definitely a poor vocalist right now, but I think there's some potential after TRIANGLE...just needs time!
 
Overall: The new girls did better on their 2nd single mostly and TRIANGLE and the GRADATION tour did better for some over others too.  I'd say they're still kind of working their way into the group as they still didn't have a HUGE role in the single (Akane and Haruna had spoken dialogue in Oh my wish! and Miki and Maria had lines in Ima Sugu Tobikomu Yuuki) so mostly this came down to their Suki na Senpai performance. 
 
==ANGERME==

Overall: I think the 2nd single did better for 3rd Gen to step out into the light as we get our first official solo lines to Rikako and Maho.  Though the standings remained the same for me as Mizuki is still a powerhouse and Sasaki as the new face/blood.  Luckily, Aiai has managed to get better with her solo lines and she has a cute lisp to her that surprised me more than I expected.  Even though I feel like this is how it'll be for the 3rd single, I do love these girls!
 
===Country Girls===
 
1. Ozeki - I'm seriously loving her voice more and more and now with this tomboy act thrown in due to Wakatte Iru no ni Gomen ne, she's definitely my favorite within the group especially after Utachan left.
 
2. Inaba - She's just surprising me more and more, she can do such a cute girl act and then hit us with a bombastic dance performance, it boggles my mind if she was totally meant for Country Girls or Momusu to be honest...still Manakan is a great member for sure.
 
3. Morito - I think the fact she was shoved down our throats for Wakatte and somewhat Tamerai Summertime should say something for her at least.  She still lacks some kind of standout personality at the moment, but since Uta's departure I think it did better for her in the long run.
 
4. Yamaki - Sadly the only member that really hasn't done much outside of the 2nd single, Yamaki is still a great member, but I think we need a single for her to make her fit in this group perfectly.
 
Overall: I know Uta leaving shook the group up (and seeing people dismiss the group purely for that fact is so silly and overdramatic as it is).  I think the group managed to get Chisaki out there more while Dance Team pushed Manaka out as well...everyone else has kind of remained at the same level for me, but I'm sure there's more to come
 
===Kobushi===
 
1. Fujii - Like Ozeki, Fujii's kind of boyish looks caught my eyes and she's been a favorite of mine for a long time so this is kind of a no-brainer...plus her voice is really interesting especially in Dosukoi and Nen ni wa Nen.
 
2. Nomura - Likewise, Nomura has seriously been going up my charts since the group formed and I feel like she's the visual ace at the moment which is really cool to watch.
 
3. Hirose - Vocal powerhouse is great and Ayapan is just mesmerizing as a member...she looks so mature!
 
4. Inoue - Beyond the fact that she does the most of the 8 being a regular on Oha Star, Reirei is also someone I'm closely following as she's a surprising member with such a cool voice on her. 
 
5. Ogawa - While I do think vocally, she's the weakest...her appearances make her look so elegant and poised and I'm loving that alongside she's the only one I think who pulls it off in an otherwise rockin' group!
 
6. Hamaura - Cute and she's got potential to let go of her squeaky vocals as we've seen from the single, but the 5 above her just strike me so much more.
 
7. Wada - Really the last two comes down to the fact they're kind of the back girls at the moment.  Wada sticks out due to her height while Taguchi with how short so it's a bit bizarre that they're both at the bottom.
 
8. Taguchi
 
Overall: As their debut major single passes by, I feel like this group is going to go on to do amazing things.  They all are members I really loved prior (with the exception of Inoue and Hirose).  They all just gel together so well and with their genre of rock as their foundation...it's just a perfect mash right now!

Overall: Right now, this is how they're ranking right now.  There's no one that really screams out favorite of the group by skill because 5 of the 6 girls are almost even on one another on how they are in the group.  Tanimoto though has a LOT of work to go through, but she's just so darn adorable that she might just bypass on her personality alone.  I'm sure with more releases this will broaden out more, but for right now it's just this.
 

[Shoujo Q]

I'm lazy. Or am I not lazy? This took time, but then again, not really. xD 

I did my mid-year ranking as well. But Tsubaki Factory, ugh. I'm TRYING REALLY HARD with them. But they are just all so, horrible at singing. Praying for a miracle. 

 
Anyone after 20 was basically just thrown there. Aside from Mai, Rina, Chisaki, Akari, Erina and Maria who are naturally in the bottom of their respective groups. Kobushi Factory I have no clear order for them yet. So that's probably the only groups that will really make a big shift by next year for sure. 
 
C-ute, and Juice=Juice are the only permanently stable ranking groups. Country Girls, while they are a clear ranking, the top three change on any given day, but I have a clear favorite.
 
C-ute - Airi, Chisato, Maimi, Saki and Mai

Juice=Juice - Sayuki, Karin, Tomoko, Yuka and Akari
 
Country Girls - Risa, Manaka, O.Mai. <- Varies though Risa is winning the #1 spot left by Uta. I still miss Uta. T______T
Momoko and Chisaki 
Morning Musume - Sakura, Zukki.
Varies ->  Haruka, Masaki (She'll stay up here as long as she continues to use her big girl voice), Riho, Miki, Mizuki, Haruna, Akane, Ayumi, O.Haruna, Erina, Maria
ANGERME - Meimi, Mizuki, Kanon.  
Varies -> Kana, Akari, Maho, Rikako, Ayaka, Rina

Kana may take over Kanon's spot. I LIKE Rikako, I just need her to mature a bit more before I can put her any higher. Maho's spot isn't secure, she's too green. I'm enjoying her blog more than anything. Akari, while great, just doesn't have enough spark for me to keep her in a stable spot. Ayaka is filler, she should probably be higher but vocally, Kana and Akari are more my taste. Rikako and Maho just beat her out for their newness. Rina is stuck at the bottom, honestly I probably should have put her above C-ute's Mai, but I think I was having a bitter moment the day I did the poll. xD 
 
Kobushi Factory, I'm not even really there yet to place them properly. Though I do like all the girls in Kobushi, I can name a few of them off the top of my head easily. But I have a trouble with a few others. Once I can get them all, I'll be able to rank them properly.

OK so the top ten is mostly right.  There are some things that seem odd, like I definitely like Rena more than Ayaka within Kobushi, and Rei should not rank higher than Airi.  But yeah, like everyone else said...Tsubaki just basically doesn't rank for me at all yet.  The only people lower than them are my forever bottom six.
 
Also I have no idea when Dawa jumped up that high.
