Ouch. Hernia can't really be cured but I hope they find something to lessen her pain. She's one of only two original Tsubaki members that were ready to debut and since they pushed her so much it would be horrible for the group.

I found out that I have flat feet because I kept injuring my ankle in dance. I bet there are some H!P girls with the same problem. It's not that uncommon.

Ogata Haruna will host a biweekly sports show called "Hello! Athlete Megami" on Sky Perfect TV, first episode will air on July 2nd.
It's a show about female athletes. Her first guest (for the first two episodes) is figure skater Aoki Yuna.

H!S uploaded a teaser about the changes in H!P. It shows short clips of the girls that are to be transferred or get to debut (Morito, Yanagawa, Funaki, Ichioka, Danbara, Kawamura). It ends with Funaki opening a door - finding out who her new group mates are?

Seems like there will be an announcement tomorrow.

I forgot how animated Musubu is  The ending cracked me up, especially in slow-mo. Super excited for the first time in a while with anything H!P has done. It looks like there will be a special edition of Hello! Station on Monday (normally Wednesdays). I believe H!S is usually around 9pm Japan time.

If someone gets added to Momusu, this would be technically 14th gen right?

Unless they do a JunLin and lump them into 13th.

My first thought was "why wouldn't they be the 14th gen?," completely forgetting about JunLin.

They could also be "creative" and call them something completely different, like... "temporary members". Or "transfer generation".

Oh yeah, I guess I wasn't specific enough, Just between Morito, Funaki, and Yanagawa...the other 3 they could easily be a "14th gen"

Ah, I see. Might as well call them 14th gen or they go the 8th gen row and throw them into 13th gen.

Which would be weird, honestly. Like, the KSS would be weird. 13th gen joined half a year ago, picked from the KSS (granted I consider Yokohama to be less of a KSS pick and more the original audition winner, they just didn't want a solo gen). In these 6-7 months none of the 3 KSS could have improved so much that it makes sense for them not being picked as 13th gen but 6 months later.

Therefore my prediction: the girl(s) going to MM will be from CG, not the KSS.

As much as I'd like Ruru there.

I'm OK with this. A shakeup of a stagnated structure can't be a bad thing.

They added Kaede to MM just six months after she had failed the original 13th gen audition.

Same. I hope it leads to a massive shake-up of MM at the very least.

Nippon Budokan will be closed and renovated starting on March 2018 and is expected to be finished June 2020. So H!P is going to need to find another place to have their big final concerts.

I guess SSA is still a bit too big but if something important is coming they could manage YokoAri. Probably booking it on a weekday but well.

They do Budokan on weekdays pretty often.

They almost never do SSA. Probably too expensive when they'd have to use a lesser capacity to sell out.

I have a feeling this is either gonna be really good or really bad....

Either they finish at YokoAri and it boosts their confidence and possibly public image (though probs only slightly lmao)

or

They finish concerts at Nakano Sun Plaza for 2 years

It seemed like the Messi Arena or whatever was for the Hinafest was pretty good... Maybe they'll use that one. Though it's not in Tokyo from what I remember lol

Budokan is considered more prestigious than Yokohama despite the smaller capacity, iirc. Changing the venue is gonna get people talking.

Edit: sorry, meant to say not gonna lmao.

It's not like they have a choice if Budokan is closed for renovation, though.

Yokohama Arena is about the only logical alternative in terms of capacity and proximity to Tokyo.

Yeah that seems to be what I've seen... It didn't seem like that big of a deal when C-ute was at Yoko instead of Budokan. Kinda odd, but Budokan is like that iconic venue.

SSA would be the best, but they'd really have to do promote/go public to pull that shit off. It's crazy to think when past acts performed there... O_O

A stage like this would be amazing to see again, though.

They should have a more varied rotation in general, can't see the charm of performing One·Two·Three in 10 tours in a row since its release. The ammount of times they've sung that song is over 200.
It's their Colorful era trademark song and all but come on, by the end of this year half of that line-up will have been graduated and 8 new members have been added to the group, time to move on.

There are always gonna be signature songs that get performed for years on end, and especially when there are long periods without a new signature song. The use of OTT in the last tour was part of a medley, and a spectacular medley at that. Audiences go ape-shit when they sing OTT, so I don't see them cutting it out completely anytime soon.

The song I don't need to hear ever again -- unless by an OG reunion -- is "Morning Coffee".

Update from Maho:

She's doing better, and isn't having any issues in her private life but they're not sure what'll happen at a concert or event. She'll remain on hiatus until the end of fall, at which point they'll decide if she's going to leave or stay.
