From the FC site, Morning Musume. '15 (minus Haruna, Eripon, Kanon) and Maasa in a new Joshi Engeki musical "TRIANGLE" 「 TRIANGLE -トラインアングル- 」 6/18~6/28. Its a sci-fi fantasy story from a Shoujo manga writer named Fusako Kuramochi.

Maasa was serious about this acting thing. I haven't watched Warera Jeanne so I haven't seen her act, but its still exciting.

Was Erina in Lilium? I want to say she was, but I don't remember seeing her at all

No, Erina (and Haruna) weren't in Lilium. I don't think they've done anything since Stacy's, play-wise.

Kanon's audition for MM was acting. But maybe her interests have changed.

But yeah even if she was interested in it before, maybe she realized she didn't like it from doing the two previous plays and her interests changed.

Or there weren't enough roles for everyone. It is based off a novel. And Kanon and Eripon are the ones they'll most likely be able to find something to do while the musical runs.

What's the point if they're just going to be minor characters with little to no part? It's more effort than it's worth for everyone involved, just for a little week and a half musical.

Known roles (I know because I read the manga and what they're wearing totally gives it away):
Ayumi - Princess Sakura
Duu - Asada
Riho - Lieutenantl Kiri

Some background without TOO many spoilers:
Asada's people (from planet Omega) have the power to control electricity, which allows them to handle the electric jellyfish of planet Alpha without harm to themselves or those in physical contact with them.
Princess Sakura is close friends with Asada, and often uses his ability to manipulate electricity in order to play with the jellyfish. She is totally crushing on him.
Kiri is cold to EVERYONE, partly because no one wants to talk to him for fear of him reading their minds, which is a trait of his people from planet Vita. His people is known to be violent and constantly at war. and he is the only one of his kind to walk away from that life to seek refuge in the peace of planet Alpha.
Princess Sakura's maid is named Rosewood (no idea who will play her), and is also from planet Omega.
Planet Alpha appears to be a place where people from all over the galaxy migrate to if they seek peace. It is a place of harmony.

This sounds cool, and an Ayumi lead sounds great. We'll see how long I make it through this one, lol. I might just read the manga if it doesn't suck, and then watch this in the background later so I can know what's going on without actually having to give it my full attention.

All this stuff without Kanon is really reminding me of when Aika started being less and less involved because of her foot right before graduating. I hope that doesn't happen here because I feel like Kanon has much more to offer as a performer than Aika ever did.

I still love Aika, regardless of her hater parade. She stunk up Risa's graduation with her own, so we're cool. :wota:

Kanon's got a bombtastic voice, but she'll never get to use it in MM anyway, so there's no real difference if she graduates now or later. I just wish girls could do more interesting things post-MM instead of freaking dinner parties and plays, but that's a rant for another time.
