MONSTA X
The whole formation of the group was shown on the show NO.MERCY, and the trainees had to show off their skills through different kind of performances in order to not be evicted.
The show originally started with 12 trainees, with I.M joining later on Ep.8.
6 Trainees were evicted and the other 7 became MONSTA X. You can see all their performances here, but only with the official members and not the trainees.
The group's name comes from Monster, as they want to be a monster on the K-pop scene, and Mon (français) and Star, probably because of their company's name; Starship Entertainment.

More Info: He is a former JYP trainee and failed the audition to GOT7. Also he was a dancer for Lee Hyori.
