This era's H!P concerts feel like a glorified showcase for the new singles.  The whole thing that always made the big H!P concerts fun was getting to see interaction between unlikely girls and brand new combinations of voices.  These setlists are so boring to me.  I guess it still has the upside of getting to see multiple groups you're a fan of on one ticket but it's a little too basic to me.

According to this week's Green Room, ~CHALLENGER~ features acrobatics, similar to the winter concert. Seems the main three are Erina, Miki and Hashimoto Nagisa (A 22nd gen Kenshuusei who joined in 2014.)
 
Erina made an interesting comment about the acrobatics--she noted it was the second time they've done it and while she's happy to show that part off, she's most worried about not injuring herself (and others doing the same.) 
 
Nonaka was cute and mentioned that since she's jumping and spinning around so much, people might wonder "who is that?" She wants them to know "it's Nonaka."
 
It seems all of Kobushi Factory and Tsubaki Factory are the "background" acrobats. I also spotted Ichioka Reina.

I hope the girls don't injure themselves again. There were a fair amount of injuries if I remember correctly, one of them S Kanon to not really be included in the groups next single.

That may be the reason they elected 3 girls who are the most skilled at it to do the bigger acrobatic stuff.

That's why I thought the singles setlist and the shuffles setlist was a quite good idea. If you don't come often to Japan, seeing all your favorite groups singing their mainstream songs is good. If you prefer seeing shuffles / see their singles performances often, go the to concert with the shuffles.


I'll try to write a report later but I can already tell you that wotas don't seem tired of OTT, the cheers became suddenly louder when the music began.

I finally got this set and watched Disc 1: Discovery, which opens with an amazing dance performance by a select group of the girls. When I watch Disc 2, I may do a blog entry on it. (I am so behind on my pile of unwatched concerts and I just ordered some more.)
 
I want to do a post on Facebook about Momoko's singing talent and I wanted to use the shuffle performance of "Akai Nikkichou" from this concert to illustrate it.
Does anyone have a link to it? They had one on FB from YouTube, but it was overdubbed with the original, which confused the hell out of me. Anyone got the actual, untampered clip?

The audio seems a little wonky (the music seems super loud compared to the voices) but this is the only one I found that was on Youtube.
