I actually reaally liked this song... And I haven't liked C-ute's recent singles. But I think that's partially because it reminded me of this.

This week's H!S had a preview of Naze Hito wa Arasoun Darou? C-ute is going totally vintage on this one and I am FUCKING LOVING IT.

It's very moody -- dark, even -- and very Tsunku. I like it. This is a really strong single.

Am I really contemplating buying a C-ute single?! Especially since the last one I would've bought was Tokai no Hitorigurashi / Aitte Motto Zanshin?! (Had I been buying singles then.) Which was over 2 years ago. I Miss You / THE FUTURE was strong, but not enough I would've bought in to it.
 
But Naze Hito wa Arasoun Darou? is one of my favorite songs out of H!P at least this year so far, if not into last year, too.

I neither hate nor love it. Like nor dislike it. It's just there. But that's the epitome of what C-ute has been for me after they released Tsugi no Kado.

I definitely think it's the weakest of the three songs on this single, but I like it. I really need HQ audio of "Summer Wind" and "Jinsei wa STEP!" though. Jesus, it's still 3+ weeks until this thing drops

I enjoy Naze Hito in that it kind of reminds me of some golden era songs like I Wish and Dekkai Uchuu de Ai ga Aru but I feel like those songs did it way better, or at least, are catchier (Dekkai's 500 repeats of the chorus not withstanding) LOL. I want to like Summer Wind but something about the verses feels kind of tedious, I'll have to hear it in higher quality to form an opinion because I feel like some of the instrumentation is being dulled down by the radio rip. I like the idea of them doing anything with that dark feel though. Jinsei wa STEP is fantastic, I'm really excited to watch it inevitably get the worst video and least promotion LOL.
