Today at the opening of the Summer tour, it was announced that Momona Kasahara is joining ANGERME!

Her singing from the Kenshuusei recital a couple months ago. She and Momohime won the fan vote.

I like to think Angerme just works backwards. Add members when they leave instead of add members before they leave.

They added Kamiko for Kanon and now Momona for Meimi. Though Momona doesn't have a lick of Meimi's talent. But then again she was trying to cover Kamei Eri centric songs.

Another fact for those that don't know. Momona is a very big Kamei Eri fan. Which is why she chose this year and last year to sing her songs at the KSS Trainee recitles.

I'm not that impressed by her singing, but maybe she'll get better in time, so won't judge her just yet. But it will be interesting to see how she'll fit in.

I'm not happy. Kamiko only just joined and she doesn't even have time to be the new one? Plus Angerme was in such a good place, I feel like they're adding new ones way too fast. She better be able to keep up with their current level of performing.

I don't like it.

But Dawa is definitely leaving now.

It's unexpected but I don't really see it as a bad thing. Joining Angerme seems to be a better option than MM at this point. But does this make her fifth generation, or is she just some unlabeled generation?

I think she's being considered 5th gen. They threw her onto the blog with 3ki and Moe though. They should split her and Moe off into their own blog.

Yeah she was born in 2003, I think in Oct/Nov. She looked like 15 in her profile pic when she was introduced even though she was only 11.

Maho may not be the best singer, but she seems to be quite a popular member with the Japanese wota. She had tons of calls at their recent Budokan, along with being the center of Marionette 37 live. I know she's not everyone's cup of tea but she seems to be doing really well.

Here's her Kenshuusei introduction video for those interested... She seems to have grown up quite a bit in just a year. I think that may be part of the reason they chose her--maybe they see potential for more growth.

One of her favorite Hello!Pro songs is Yuugure wa Ameagari, since the dance is ballet-like and she took ballet herself.
