"ソラシド". At first I took this more straightforward, Sorashido (without knowing what that should mean). Now that I see it written this way I can see the So La Ti Do thing, except wouldn't Ti　use チ instead of シ?

EDIT: Doing a bit of searching I find ソラシド used for Sorashido, Sora Seed, Solaseed, and probably other things. Katakana, whaddya gonna do.

Ti vs Si actually depends on the language spoken. Apparently in the major/widely spoken Romance (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian) and Slavic (Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, a lot more to list) languages, they use Do Re Mi Fa So(l) La Si, which Japan seems to have adopted versus the mainly English-speaking variant that uses Ti instead of Si.
 
It seems this change happened when they decided that they wanted each note to start with a different letter.
 
So, this is single is just So La Si Do, or Solasido, if you really want it to be all one "word."

I'm not sure what the deal is with DVD singles. All of Tsubaki's indie releases are like that. Perhaps they are doing this because they don't want to fully revive Buono so they are treating it like an indie release but not calling it an indie release.

This is correct. Also "La Ti Do" sounds very jarring to me vs "La Si Do" that I'm used to since forever.

I just went to 4 different sites and they all have September 21 listed as the release date, but H!P's site has 10/26? I'm so confused.

I feel like the September date is probably correct because the J=J single got pushed back to 10/26 and I don't see them releasing two H!P artists on the same day, even if they wouldn't count towards the same chart.

After confirming the Juice=Juice delay the next thing I did was recheck this single's page to see if it had been adjusted to September, but no go (so far). I do wonder why they wouldn't release it in September--if they've got it finished and can sell some copies at the Buono! concert this month, it's not like they'd need a full two months to print a few thousand more copies?

If so that's a pretty big mistake because we've known about the JJ single for quite some time now.

<div>I guess I'm gonna be the turd in this punch-bowl -- and it kills me, because Buono! is probably my favorite H!P group after MM -- but neither of these songs do much for me. I don't know if my expectations were just too high, but "So La Ti Do" is just conventional guitar-based idol-pop. The chorus is nice, but other than that it's nothing special. "Rock no Seichi" at least has the edge that I want from Buono!, but they've done so many songs like this that are just way better.</div>
