I'm not the only one who was thrown off by Sakura's like wow fake move near the end of the song, right? I've now heard it twice and both times it's thrown me off, mainly because it really doesn't sound like her. 
 
I still think I like Brand New Morning more, Jealousy is okay, but it's not my favorite of the two songs.

I agree it doesn't sound like her, but I still think it might be... She's just never asked to sing like that. We'll really see when it comes to lives if it's a backtrack part though!

I really like 13th gen so far! Kaede and Reina are fantastic additions so far, and are reviving my love for the group. They really stagnated for a while there as a group, so I'm glad the new blood is bringing something tangible to the table this time.
 
Brand New Morning is a very strong debut single too, so this is excellent all the way around. Jealousy Jealousy is okay, the raps really killed it for me because I just can't get them. They might click with me later though, and then it'll be a solid single all around.

I feel like they've chosen the wrong people for the recording (the one they show, that is). Haruna's voice is soft and Erina's fits Jealousy Jealousy better too, imo, as well as Duu's.

Lol jeez I don't know why I felt to leave that comment so early in the morning. I meant to say I was impressed with Erina's solo line in BNM and was really disappointed by how weird and throaty she sounded in the recording booth. They really chose to showcase her worst lines lol.

^^ Ah, I see. But yeah I agree. Her solo line in BNM was actually kinda impressive, but they just showed the parts she had drouble with.

Kudo was constantly off-key and that was honestly really annoying
Ikuta was also quite disappointing. She sounded nice in her solo line, so hearing her basically shout the whole thing through wasn't exaclty pleasant.

They used the outfits that were on the maniqun in the background. I was wishing they were the outfit for the MV so I'm rather happy. But now I'm sad because they used those crappy silver ones.

It makes me wonder if they were really behind on preparations for Jealousy Jealousy or something? In addition to not utilizing the clearly better outfits for the video (beyond displaying a couple of them on mannequins ??? ), the choreography in the MV seemed really sloppy as compared to BNM.

Rewatching, it's obvious they made the dance around these outfits, too... 
 
Take note at :18 --one side is jealous, the other pure
:37 --as the girls join in on the "jealousy," their outfit side is black
and of course, the chorus they're all "jealous" as they talk about the other girls
until 1:12 when they move on and talk about themselves, they're pure and confident again
Finally ending with "jealousy" both in the outfits and as the final lyric of the song.
 
It's actually one of the most beautiful and thought out outfits/dances in H!P history, imo.

The actual Jealousy PV looks way better than BNM. It's also got better quality outfits. BNM's look like garbage in the blog photos they've posted.

What are the arm movements even supposed to look like in the chorus of JJ? It's basically just flapping around.

I would love it if for one single they would let the girls make the choreography 100% by themselves working together. I would expect a mix of H!P past and current dancesteps (as if their current choreos didn't have enough recycled moves already)
 
About the performances, in BNM I like Yokoyama's long line better live, but the 2nd line sounds a lot better in the audio. Also with Reina singing live I couln't hear much of zukki's voice, I actually thought she didn't sound nothing like Kanon in this perf.
