Oh I assumed it was just the original 5, but maybe not?

If it is just recording, I imagine almost everyone being available. May have been done for months, even. The only OG probably not part of it are Kamei and Kago. Other questionables would be Suzuki, Sayashi, and Mitsui. Suzuki I feel is much like Kamei. Sayashi and Mitsui may be out of the country.


Didn't Junjun and Linlin come to Japan in the last couple months too? One of them I believe did if not both...

Since we have nothing about the songs for now, I'll just post what I'd like to have : a new recording of each gen debut single, featuring some current members and the generation that debuted with the single, up to 8kies because 9kies are still in the group. Without 3rd gen since Love Machine is performed often enough, it would make 6 songs, Summer Night Town, Happy Summer Wedding, Mr Moonlight, Shabondama, Iroppoi Jirettai and either Egao Yes Nude or Onna ni Sachi Are.

Recently appeared on a show and blamed issues with Yuko for her retirement. Auditioned for the adult AKB48 thing. Wanted to be apart of Dream Morning Musume and was upset she didn't get an invite.

It was first performed September 2015. I'm pretty sure they meant to release the 15th album way before they did and then graduations and additions got in the way.

These are fairly de rigueur covers for this sort of release, so I'm not complaining, but there doesn't seem to be any thought  behind the arrangement of the girls on either cover, save for the OGs forming a V on the LE, with Abe in the center as you'd expect. Naturally, she is joined in the center by... Chisaki? Fukumura is 2nd from the bottom left, which totally makes sense in Nothing-Makes-Any-Sense World. Maybe they were going for a Past-and-Future theme. The arrangement is even more haphazard on the Regular edition. Speaking of the RE, I don't know if it's the low-ish resolution of the photo, but the job of cutting the girls out from their backgrounds seems pretty hack. 
 
The quicker tempo of "Morning Coffee" is disorienting at first, but I think there's room for it to grow. I mean, do we really need another straight cover of this song? I'm glad they decided to color a little bit outside the lines on this one. The outfits are... less than inspiring, though.
