More evidence that Juice=Juice is where middling singers go to git gud. Sakura and Yume join Risamaru and Bitter & Sweet on C-ute's "Tsugi no Kado wo Magare," and Sakura sounds legit. Kudo has improved steadily since she debuted and also sounds better than ever, but Sakura's growth has been fast af. Poor Risamaru is outclassed by everyone on stage at her own event.

Lol! Remember when we said Sakura joined only to replace Aarii as a visual! Well, she also went the same vocal route Aarii went before her! But *definitely* faster. I think Sugai-sensei's work is very obvious when you compare Juice to for example Morning.*

*Morning didn't have tone deaf members since Oharu, but while Akane got better Yokoyan hasn't, and they've already been in the goup forever.

I don't see as many MM lives as I do from the other groups, but Yokoyan definitely sounded better than I can ever remember at Fuku's grad concert, and she got a lot of solo lines. It could just be that she had a good night, but the fact that they put so much on her plate to begin with leads me to believe she's just improved. I still wouldn't call her good, but Akane's journey is probably a good comparison.

I think, this is the first year as a H!P fan where I've been so parched for H!P news at the beginning of the year.

Usually there's something going on. A graduation announcement, a new group, new members. SOMETHING! It's just been so quiet.

All we've been getting in illness news.

I do wonder if Ichioka is on her way out, or any Beyooooonds news is being delayed BECAUSE she's ill. (Shades of Kiki-gate 2017)

True, there's really not much happening at the moment. Aarii is gonna leave soon-ish and so will Rikako, but I do hope we won't have to wait until December again for another Morning member to leave. If any Biyo single is delayed by Icchan's illness... that would suck, honestly. I mean MM released a single without Masaki, Biyo could too. They're really, really due for sth now.

But yes. I remember everybody waiting for the first day of winter concerts for announcements, may it be new singles, graduations, or even auditions. But they don't even announce anything during concerts anymore. But there hasn't been a *single* announcement yet, except for photobooks. No single, no album (OCHA's and Tsubaki's were announced last year). Hm.

I can't find ANY info in English on this, even from the usual suspects on Twitter, but they have to be releasing a song, right? I'm kinda stoked for this.

Well, a good group! Let's hope for songs and the like.
In general I think these are actually the kind of girls that have potential to draw in a lot of people. Homare is often named as a girl other teenage girls are interested in, Rin has done modeling stuff, Momo is the upcoming new star and Shiori is an all-around favourite. Ichika is very talented and Yumi probably has a decent amount of fans from her acting days, too.

This has the potential to be the thing that gets me back into H!P in a big way. I like that, outside of maybe Shiori and Momo, all of these girls are 2nd or 3rd tier in their groups and all have interesting personalities. And none of them are old timers -- it's all new gen H!P. All they need now is their own "SHAKA SHAKA TO LOVE" to seal the deal.
