However, Taiyou to Ciscomoon really served, I hope the current girls were taking notes. I would be.

And another note, I found the sound to be a little off and it seemed some girls mics were just not working right. They never do well in the bigger spaces. I hope it's fixed for the physical release. It was a little frustrating. Not sure if they fixed it for the second act.

Oh yes, I definitely heard it with Tanaka Reina, which surprised me, considering she's an m-line regular. Also hoping for a fix when it comes out.

I purposely didn't look at the setlists so I would be surprised when I watched it, and boy was I surprised! Kudos to whoever put the ALL FOR ONE concerts together for avoiding a lot of the usual suspects wrt song choices, because doing so cranked the nostalgia to eleven. The stand-ins for the old groups were solid for the most part, but I was wishing that Ozeki had performed with v-u-den instead of Manakan because she just looks more like Yui, and honestly she's a better singer than Inaba. Rika Shimakura in W seemed overly safe to me, as did choosing "Southpaw" over a W original, which made it feel less like the original group than any of the others. And I can't believe they passed on the opportunity to add Ruru to T&C for "Magic of Love." Her name is RURU, dummies, and she's been singing those parts live at every Juice=Juice show for two years now. Sometimes the obvioius choice is the correct choice. As Shojou said, T&C were not playing around or content to just show up as the "oldies" act. They were fucking electric.

I noticed the monitor issues with Kei on Summer Night Town, too. I suppose that could be fixed in post, but it won't be easy. I feel bad for all the members who were out, because these were really fun shows. Kishimon missing out of the Tsubaki reunion really stings, especially since her graduation is back on.
