Neither of them is a huge winner for me, but I appreciate the change in music. It's been overdue for MM to do a new "concept." They used to make a big deal out of changing to EDM and stuff, but they don't seem to be too interested in reinventing MM since Sayashi left. Just less formations making shapes in their choreo.

I’m still a firm believer that the only reason they went heavy dance is because they realized it’s easier to teach them that than to sing. No one will ever convince me otherwise.

People have just gotten used to having solo songs or members having a noteable part in their graduation song. But they’re forgetting her tenure won’t even be four years long.


Apparently both songs were written just in case she failed her exams and ended up graduating.

Takahashi, Risa, and Reina were the next to leave to receive solos, but the list is small. The list is limited to the best vocals over the group's history, who weren't leaving to pursue a solo career. Sayumi is the only person who got a solo when she was leaving, who doesn't fall into the theme, but she probably deserved that song... Or badgered some people into giving her it ????

And Takahahshi, Risa, Reina, and Sayu all had long tenures in the group, so their graduations meant something so it kinda made sense to give them grad songs.

My thoughts.... Why would you subject yourself to that? I mean luckily we'll only have to hear her solo once at the end of her grad. I... really wish H!P had better stylists lmaooo.  Whenever the girls have non-matching outfits, everything falls apart.  These outfits don't go together at all.

I will say that Iikubo looks fantastic with twintails. Aside from Eripon and her hat that is about the only thing I enjoy about the outfits in that picture.

Right around 1 min into Are You Happy? really starts to grab me... but once it hits the chorus at 1:30 it goes back to a "meh" for me.... The instrumental around that part isn't half bad, but I don't like the lyrics/vocals. A Gonna is growing on me a bit though.

This is shaping up to be another underwhelming MM single imo.  They really need to mix things up soon, they're quickly becoming my least favorite H!P group, their single output has just been way too same-y imo.  Brand New Morning was a misnomer, to say the least LOL.  It's good to have a signature sound or whatever but I feel like MM are stagnating again.

I guess probably Kobushi?  Their music doesn't really appeal to me at all and I find their voices kind of annoying / grating.  I keep trying to get into them but it just doesn't work out.
