This round was a little harder. A few of the kenshuusei songs aren't on Apple Music so I couldn't judge them as fairly. I've been making a playlist of all the songs so I can't better hand out my votes.

Here's a pro-tip for searching the lesser known songs: search the wiki first, then copy and paste the original Japanese in YT. That's what I did for that song especially.

Also, I'm just gonna let everyone -- all 6 or 7 of us, lol -- know that if the current numbers of this poll persist to next Sunday, I'm only gonna move the top six to the next round. A six-way tie of single-vote songs? Nah bro, ain't happening.

This would be tough in any event, but y'all decided to push nine Anju songs forward via ties, so here we are lol! I think I'm gonna implement a plan to deal with massive ties starting in Round 3 when there will be fewer selections per poll.

Atsui doing well is less surprising to me than Nana Korobi Ya Oki taking 1st in every poll it's been in so far. I mean, it makes me happy, but I honestly thought I was gonna be the only one voting for it.

Alright, I'm gonna give y'all one shot at this. One day, six songs, one vote, two songs move on. I'm willing to move three to the next round, but If there are more than three in a 1st place tie or more than two in a 2nd place tie, they all get eliminated. Sorry, but ain't nobody got time for this.

The next Round 2 battle features Kobushi Factory, Juice=Juice and Country Girls. Four votes to move four songs to the next round. I might be more forgiving of ties on this one since only three from Biyo/Anju made it through on the last poll.

Seems like this thing is losing steam the longer it goes on, with seemingly only three people casting votes in the last round. A 4-way tie for 4th between songs only receiving a single vote means only these three songs move on to the next round:
