That was nice. I enjoyed it. It was very typical H!P and that’s not a bad thing. I look forward to the other two songs. It was sad not seeing Reina. Not that I think she would have added much. I was focused on Milo the whole time. XD

But I’m going to jab the MV director for a second. Those dance shots. The floor was filthy. Makes you wonder how many takes of that dance they did. The beauty of a shot like that is if you had an all black floor with the light shining down. It would have made the scene more interesting.

FINALLY. I'm glad they didn't push them further back due to Reina's graduation (bc of rerecording etc.).
At first I thought the song was not very Biyo, but they still made it work. Also Miyo is definitely the center here, damn, she was commanding that room. Miimi was also great, nice to see her go full out.

"Hai to Diamond" is awesome. It fits Biyo's vibe without tethering them into their past, which is kind of cool given the circumstances. I know they're the "theatrical" group, but I really love seeing them in full-on idol group mode, because they're pretty much untouchable in that space. As great as Okubo's arrangement of this is -- and it's really killer -- I can't help but think about how great a DANCE☆MAN version of this would be.

I really love the outfits, and the colors looked great on stage. They're not super idol-y, just fashionable and flashy.

A little help if you don't understand Robert Hooke or his Law

My immediate reaction is that I like the song quite a bit, and yet there's this nagging nit-pick that it's kinda formulaic for Beyonds in the same way that "Tokyo Blur" is for J=J. Early 80s funky disco-pop is Hoshibe's and Biyo's wheelhouse, but a big part of the fun of this group is taking on any style and making it their own. Making them a slave to one primary genre of pop seems counter to the very concept of Beyooooonds, to me anyway.
