I intensely ignored HapiRapi Sunrise, so I guess yay, I can enjoy this PV! I like it so far! The graphics and overall treatment of the film (?) gave it a very nice effect. Hell, I'd much prefer this than another dance + singing-bust shot studio PV. This does her much more justice than PVs in the vein of Kikkake wa Boring.

PV looks surprisingly good! Proof that H!P could take a boring premise (dance + close up) and make it work if they really wanted. I love the camera work and the fact that she can do a solo dance by herself without producers feeling the need to provide back up dancers. Nice camera work. But I would have preferred back-up dancers instead of triple Kikka. Or at the have the 2 Kikka's in the back be in different outfit/hairstyle. Like black or something.

But not egg dancers, adult professional back up dancers.

I like Kikkawa, rooted for her in MM. But it's just been too long since then for me to be interested in her anymore and the first two singles seemed pretty lackluster..

01: Konna Watashi de Yokattara - Let it be heard, for the first time ever the A-side is actually good! The melody is simple, but catchy and manages to earworm its way into your brain despite not being a huge standout track. It's a sweet song, and the way she sings it matches the mood. Yes, Yuu, this you is more than okay~ <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... deways.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sideways:' />



02: early snow - Well, I wasn't a fan of the winter bells at first. Usually her b-sides are jawdropping awesome so I'm disappointed in that matter, but by no means is it a bad song. Probably her worst b-side since debut, but eh, it has steep competition and the a-side is actually good!



03: Konna Watashi de Yokattara (remix) - No. (smh) I can't. But while I'm on this - I cannot stand the repeating of syllables that remixes tend to throw in. Yuck.



PV: Well, it's a nice video overall. It seems UFA discovered the Maimi trick was the key to having multiple idols without paying multiple idols. I wish she could've gotten different outfits, even that red abomination would mean it would be more interesting. I wish she could've done something a little different with the background dance too, so it doesn't seem like the guy hit clone twice in the editor. I don't like that she seems bored through the puppet segments, much like Haruna and Poop-o Chickies she exudes the internal monologue of "This is stupid". Her white outfit is cute and the dance ranges from cute to silly, but it fits with the song so it's fine. The segments when she dances in the narrow hallway are my favorites. She also did a nice job when she wore the red shirt and sang in front of that empty building.
