This Week:
Part 5 of Maimi's epic adventure! It's been 8 hours since she started out on day two and she's getting tired. She heads into an onsen town and they have a hot spring you can rest your feet in. Maimi relaxes her feet in it to recharge. Wota can now collect it in bottles to preserve for all time. 5PM and she takes a break to look at the ocean. She sees a doggy. She talks to some old ladies and they tell her that she's going to have to ride over mountains to get where she's going. An hour later Maimi reaches her hotel for the night. Still no bath scene. It starts raining and Maimi grabs dinner. She eats fish heads. Bed time. Tomorrow she's got to go about 45 miles. Up mountains. Probably in the rain. Maimi is more badass than you. The shrine she wants to visit there is only open until 5PM, so she needs to make good time. She leaves at 5AM, which means I probably still haven't even gone to sleep. She heads out in the dark. Maimi doesn't like going uphill. I still really like her pants. More uphill areas. Eff dat. It's also really damn cold. No matter how crappy it gets, she doesn't even get pissed off. What an angel! After 3 hours she finally reaches the top of the mountain. It's all downhill now! And then it starts raining again. She puts on rain gear but the rain gets harder. You can do it, Maimi!!!
S/mileage take off their clothes for a PV! Akari time!!! They filmed the PV in Hawaii, but were too cool to bother going to the beaches to do it. Kanyon talks about her boobs while Dawa moons the camera. Kanyon says you'll have to wait a bit to see the new members' boobs in a PV. Akari says it's still too damn cold to release a bikini song. Kanyon gets surprised with a birthday cake! S/mileage loves cake! Dawa and Akari try to figure out if they'll have to wear their outfits for events. Meimi drinks juice. They finally get some water up ins. Meimi goes nuts. Kana joins her. They ruin a camera.

This Week:
Maimi in tight pants soaked with rain! It's cold and raining, but Maimi doesn't afraid of anything. Rain blurs her vision and passing trucks soak her. Like a true iron idol, she perseveres. She's been riding 10 and a half hours that day and she's running out of time. She reaches her destination but the temple she wants to visit is on top of a big hill and closes soon! Maimi carries her bike up the 1159 ancient stone steps because she's badass! She makes it with minutes to spare! More steps! Goal!!! Maimi prays for the new single to be a hit and it obviously worked! Maimi is truly the most amazing girl on the planet! I shed manly tears for her triumph! Finally, Maimi's all "eff this! I'm takin' the train home!"
C-ute is all up in dat Hawaii! They take pictures at the beach. Then they eat some awesome bacon cheeseburgers because they are made of bacon and awesome. Airi's is bigger than her head. Then they perform for their fan club. In the rain. Because of Maimi. But then there's a rainbow so it's okay.
C-ute practices for their new tour! It's been a while, so they need to get their game back. They're trying a new flag dance, like they did a couple of years ago. Airi is a danger to herself and Maimi is a danger to others with the deadly flags in their hands. Maimi's finger gets all tore up. Nacky masters it first because she's awesome. And sexy. She then helps the other members practice. And sexy. This time the routine is far more difficult, but it's C-ute so they'll be awesome when it's time to perform it. Then they shoot some videos for the concert. Each has a different crazy outfit. Day one of the tour arrives. They struggle in rehearsal, especially Nacky since she's got the hard part.
C-ute has an event for the new single and everyone shows up. A dude pulls out his balls and Maimi smashes them.

This Week:
C-ute does a concert with flags! Back to practice. It's hard and stuff. They're stressed about all the throwing and catching. First day of the tour and of course it's raining. Rehearsal before the show sucks. Nacky is super stressed in the center. Poor pessimistic perfectionist Nacky... I'd give her a hug, but I think that's where babies come from. Now Nacky's crying, but it looks like she's really pissed off. Not from the hug. The flags. Time for the real thing. Nacky misses once and is still pissed. She vows to make the evening performance her bitch. More practice. Nacky nails it in the evening performance! Yay! More hugs!
The 9th gen eats all the foods! They go to a place Ai and Mano went to for the Kolean foods about a year ago. Zukki leads the cheer. Eripon thinks its the first time they've eaten together. Riho will be a hilarious drunk one day. They talk about school since they're still babies. Aw snap! Kimchi! Rihoriho is an adorable little chipmunk when she eats. Zukki, honey, stuffing your face on TV isn't going to make people stop talking about your weight. Mizuki is like their mom. Eripon really is in her own little world. Riho is pretty darn hilarious. The shop gives them the special: still wriggling tentacles! I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going... Eripon don't give no fucks and chows down. Zuki tries next and lets it crawl around in her mouth.
Sayu tells Risa to hurry up and graduate! Sayu Time!!! They talk about wanting members to "graduate" things about them. They think Kuduu needs to be less serious and responsible, probably because they fear for their positions as leader. They want her to be more wild, crazy and natural like Masaki. Sayu wants Eripon to stop creepin' on Gaki (and start creepin' on her). "It's okay to like her but, bitch, you crazy!" And apparently Eripon and Mizuki throw down over their love for Risa and Sayu.

I watch some of the episode and I have to say Maimai's top for one of the outfits is really short. Usually Airi has the most reveling outfit top with Maimai's being the longest but I guess sing shes growing up they decided she can wear a short top now. Just something I noticed.

The 9th gen talk and stuff. Eripon cries. They look back at how they've changed since their first tour. They're embarrassed watching the concert. They hate their voices and how they danced then. Riho thinks her voice has totally changed. They agree they were all cuter back then. Eripon has one of her low self-confidence breakdowns.
Haruka and Masaki make the world a better place. Also dress up for school. They take pictures to celebrate entering junior high school. The staff is all "Congratulations for graduating elementary school!" and Kuduu's like "Nigga, we don't graduate for another two weeks!" Kuduu gets a giant pencil and the first thing she does it try to kill someone with it. Mizuki and Ayumi take some high school pictures. Masaki shows she's mastered posing adorably. She's super cute with all her new confidence.
The 9th make Risa a GTFO present. They roll up into the Donkey to find her something. Zukki's all, "I only got 50 yen..." but the others got her back. They decide to pimp out some iPhone cases for her, but Eripon says she'll be sad if Risa doesn't use them. Riho's all, "It's the thought that counts, dammit!" Eripon just decided to buy her everything in the store. Next they go buy some bling for their cases. Zukki finds a ribbon. Riho finds a noose. Eripon finds some stalker-approved items. Mizuki's lost. Time to make the cases! Zukki agonizes over the letter R. Riho makes a droopy N. Eripon makes a perfect M. Mizuki just bought her own M. A week later they ambush Risa. She can't figure out what the hell's going on. First she gets a fondue set. Yay. Risa praises their cases while Eripon cries again. Then Mizuki starts crying. Everyone's happy.
By the way: Aika's leaving. Here's a whole minute dedicated to it.

Risa makes the 9th and 10th battle to the death! Kuduu stole someone's dignity. They have a Risa quiz. Yay. Don't worry, Kuduu's got this. Masaki's still adorable. Haruna's kind of clueless. Riho be crazy. Ayumi can blush to where she instantly turns red. Part one's a tie. Lame. Masaki's all "WTF?" Next is a singing contest with some old lady that sings songs backwards. Masaki is all "WTFITS?" They have to do it with Renai Hunter. They play it back and it summons the devil. Another freaking tie! Maa-chan's all "WTFITBS?" Next is dance time. With Renai Hunter. Dancing Backwards. Masaki's all "WTFITLABS?" Zukki freaks out. The 9th gen cheats by having Risa help them. Zukki freaks out even more when they perform. The 10th talk smack about the 9th before performing theirs. Masaki rocks it like a pro. The 10th straight up takes it because they are SUPERSTARS! Tears of joy! The 9th apologize for being so fail. Riho can only carry them so far. Dinner time! The losers get to eat too? What's this crap?!?

Best episode of HPT in a while. Kyukkies and Jukkies are always fun to watch together -- makes me feel hopeful for the future of Momusu.

The concert starts. Chickens! Tsunku Troll! Everyone freaks out. Oh joy. More auditions. So many "The fuck is this bullshit?" reactions. Leader announcement? When the fuck ever has it ever been up for debate in the history of MM? Sayu, goddammit! I was surprised that a few of the moments in this episode brought tears to my eyes. I guess it's the whole end of the 6th generation and such. This Morning Musume is so new, I still like the group but it's so different now. MM shoot a jacket! Risa GTFO'd! Welcome to Sayu World! Riho's in the center, even though we all know it's the Haruka/Masaki show. Sexy new B-boy outfits for Sayu and Reina! Sayu announces that the name's changing to Michishige Musume. MM is cute and awesome now, but here comes Troll Tsunku to ruin it with auditions. Masaki is still adorable. They all talk about their feelings on the new members. Kudu is all "HTF are you going to find someone better than me?" and then she bites the cameraman.
Captain and Chi trash a hotel room! Saki Time! Chi is amused by a nearby cartoon. By the way, she's now 20. Today they're going to practice living on their own. Captain can totally make it. Chi on the other hand... I hope the building has fire insurance. Cap wants to find a place near the station for less than 800 bucks, but Chi says it costs 380,000 dollars. She may be wrong. They go to a 32 story apartment building. I also just noticed that Chi's shirt is not a Bond fan. Captain is happy to see it's got special places to wash pets. Chi figures she can just hose off there too. And of course the elevator has a disco ball in it. They get to the apartment. It has a shoe closet bigger than hotel rooms I've stayed in in Japan. The place is giant and they figure they could just live in the closets alone. And of course the place also has a pool, bar, and jacuzzis. Also, fireworks, which Captain freaks out over. So how much is it? Chi guesses $2,100 a month. Captain guesses $2,880. Actual price: $5,780. Well shit. Guess the girls better stay at home. Off to check out another place! This one has a garden. It's a literal one room apartment with a shared living room, bathroom, etc. Also, whiteys live there so you can practice your English. Chi wants to live there to watch dudes walk around in towels. Now I know what to wear next week. How much is this one? Chi guesses $800 a month. Captain Price is Rights her ass with a guess of $750. Actual price: $695 a month. What the hell? I paid $700 a month for my own 2 story house five minutes from the station in Kyoto! Ripoff! One more place. It's past her nap time, so Chi starts yelling at the help. This place has free internet. It's one room with a bathroom and patio. Again, they're more obsessed with playing with the closets than the room. The bathroom has an iPod jack and speakers in it! Now you can poop and rock at the same time! Well, without people staring at you... Captain takes a bath while Chi watches. How much? Captain guesses $1140. Chi guesses $850. Actual price: $995! Not terrible! Chi figures she's better off leeching off her parents for he time being.
