I want someone in Japan to do a news story about what happens to all the idol CDs, mainly these election day ones, after they get their tickets or whatever. I don't think it would be pretty.
I'd like to think that BookOff and other CD re-sellers must be jammed with them. This new AKB single as gotten 1,551,074 in only two days. I can only imagine the stock pile the stores will get after this.

A lot of them probably end up on Yahoo Japan.

I'm guessing these are senbatsu-related current results. If so, I just want Watanabe to take second again and Yuko to take first. Everyone else is negligible, except Takahashi Minami who should be in the top 5 always. I very vaguely know everyone else so I don't care.

They were actually the first day results. I don't know where the numbers stand as it is, but last year the first day was similar to how the final thing ended up.

I found out something about Sasshi on another forum:
the Chinese fans gave her a nickname "指皇"。指as in Sashi's kanji and 皇for Emperor.
this name was also the Chinese title for "The Lord of the Ring"

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
If I recall correctly, they only have the first day and then the final results right?
I'm really unsurprised at the members in the top 5, though I was not expecting Sasshi to be the top of the initial top 5.
I thought Itano was graduating as well, but it seems she's part of the election... Has she not announced a date yet?

Haha that is brilliant. Sasshi as Bilbo? No surely she's more of a dwarf character, Sasshi as Thorin Oakenshield?

i FUCKING LOVE LIFE apart from the fact my two oshimen Sayaka and now Mariko are probably graduating around the same time. I LOVE Sasshi. I LOVE HER. QUEEN.

I think all but one of my favorites ranked so I'm happy. Congrats to my Sasshi, I knew she could do it.

Goddamnit, stop dethroning Yuko.
Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
I'm glad for this shake up to be honest. Would have been seriously boring if it were Yuko again.
As for Mariko, if it's true she's graduating within a month, why did she even bother being in the elections?

So it wouldn't be obvious she's leaving. Everyone who didn't sign up has announced they're graduating.

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
I know, but I stay on the fringes of AKB fandom so I really can't get tired of anyone being center just yet. I just know I've watched the senbatsu results a few times (the AKB documentaries), and feel really bad for Yuko being dethroned by Atsuko, and now again by Rino. Girl deserves to be queen, at least let her stay so for a bit. Atsuko finally left, so it just seems sad for her to not be reigning queen for a LITTLE while.
Also, I don't like Rino's face, so I'm really sad to have her be center for now.

I KNEW Mariko was going to announce her graduation, I was waiting for it, and it came! I love Mariko, but the time has come girl!
Everyone's faces when Sasshi won was PRICELESS! I love Sasshi<3 so I'm cool with this outcome~
I'm really glad my oshi Miichan was able to rank well! She only fell 4 places, and while that means she fell out of senbatsu and I'm sad, it wasn't too drastic... I only wish that she was either #17 (to be center of UG) or #16 (so she would still be senbatsu). If this was the old system #18 would still be senbatsu though :P

Rino doesn't like YOUR face. I hope this is the best selling single since ever. Yuko wasn't even mad, she was laughing. I'm happy with this senbatsu, also Akari Suda getting into the top is GREAT. Love that. Also loved seeing some emotion from Paru.

I really wanna see this footage in full. I'll bet it was crazy.

Yukko has to bring it from now on. I am for sure voting for her Sasshi, Murashige, and Akarin next year.

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
Good song and good PV but I wish the quality had translated to the covers. They are a bit H!P slapdash, not as bad as Aishiteraburu but pretty photoshoppy. Them standing on a beach would have been better quality.
WHERE DA CHURI. She better get some close ups in the full pv.

I'm more interested in HKT, just to see if Meru makes it.
This is a place where a signature goes. Enjoy some Airi instead.
Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
HKT's is on the 10th, and apparently they're going to have 3 regular members and 4 kenkyuusei.

I would love it for Murashige to make it. Shes so funny and cute. I hope she can be somewhere near the front.

Everyone's favorite AKB48 member is releasing a photobook!
And SKE48 member, Kito Momona is now involved in an underage drinking AND dating scandal. She's screwed.
