I'm confused why they have two groups of four and one of two instead of one group of four, and two groups of three.

The groups might have been made in function of the interest of the girls.

The golf one probably has room for fewer people, so they made that group smaller.

Honestly which other members would want to play golf? You've got the two most athletically inclined members in the group doing it.

I'm glad I wouldn't even have a chance on going on this because how dare they put Sakura and Masaki in the same group. (I know they are close but ugh and why not Zukki).

S/mileage's Budokan date has sold out. When it was announced, Tsunku told them he didn't think they could do it.

Good for them.  And Tsunku's prediction was most likely a gimmick to rile up fans to support the group.
 
Although they've sold out the concert, will the venue be completely packed?  I mean, do people buy tickets hoping to re-sell them later, and if they're unable to so just not show up themselves?

Well, they're not doing full capacity and it didn't sell out immediately, so I feel like most of the people who bought tickets will show up. Only half of them were sold during the presale to FC members.

I knew FKanon and Risako were close but I didn't realize her and yurina were good friends too.

Yurina is FKanon's, "kamioshi" (did I say that right?). For years she's mentioned how she looks up to Yurina as a fan. I don't know if I'd call them really close friends. More like how Erina looks up to Risa. That's the same type of thing.
