Well she also said it was partly the fact that people hate feeling like industry stars are pushed in their faces (heike) and root for underdogs that had to work hard from nothing (mm).

At first I was really excited for this "longest song" but it's not really a long song. It's a lot of short songs put together to make the minute count look long. RIght now I'm about 5 minutes in and it switched completely to a different song, it's not the same song. I'm going to listen to it through because it's Kikka, but I don't care for this.

I feel like she had the best life. She became an idol in her mid 20s, stayed an idol until her 30s, and became a married mama in her 40s. How beautiful! Most of the time I feel like idols are washed up by 19!!

Has Michiyo always been all over variety like she has been lately, or is this a recent development?  Either way I'm glad she's found something to do with herself, she was talented so it's a shame her singing career was so heavily overshadowed by Morning Musume's success.
