That leads me to question about Kanon's. Riho's and Meimi's were both announced 4 1/2 or so months after, but Kanon's hasn't yet. I hope it is or my mother might kill a person

Her Solo Special Live. Although I don't think she'd get a public release, only FC, I haven't heard of the FC one either, unless one of you can enlighten me that I've missed it.

Spring is still quite awhile away. Early in the marriage but she'd have to have found out super early for it to be the reason for the marriage.

That depends on when in spring she's due. If she's due in May, it's a honeymoon baby. If it's due in March though, she's 3 months along. She got married one month ago so March or April mean she was pregnant when she got married. I mean, I hope it's not the reason for the marriage, unlike her first child. I hope that it was a decision she made out of love and not out of necessity.

Kanon has been diagnosed with some sort of mental/physical illness (I'm not 100%), won't be finishing the school year.
 
Kanon has discussed having bad grades before she even graduated Angerme. I want to say she studies something in the sociology realm, but again, I'm not entirely sure. She's never shown too much enthusiasm for school, and I've always gotten the impression she went to university because her family wanted her to or something like that.

Seems like 心身の不調 is an umbrella term that covers everything from depression to ADHD. I don't know if it's commonly used to politely refer to just one specific condition.

Kanon being diagnosed w/ some form of mental illness is incredibly unsurprising and I think she's been struggling for awhile (which is why I always liked and related to her anyway).

I agree that it's not surprising, because she's always come off as an unhappy person, but I am surprised to see them make a statement about it rather than just saying she's taking time off to rest.

I agree that she always seemed unhappy, so this is good news. Diagnosis is the first step to hopefully get treatment. I'm hoping more people, especially in Japan, try to get treated for depression. It's a soul-sucking illness.

Tsunku has moved with his family to Hawaii. He will still travel to Japan for work.
And his children will be attending school in the good ol' US of A.

That's an interesting tidbit. I don't remember anything about him having decent English before, but I wonder if his wife does.

EDIT: I guess they have been here since July! Which make sense for his kids as school started in August.

I don't believe he does but his older daughter went to a school where she learned English, and I'm guessing his son attended the same school. His younger daughter is just at the age to be starting school.

If you can't tell, I'm one of those people. I'm ecstatic. We haven't heard from her in almost 2 years and when she graduated I fully expected her indefinite hiatus to actually be indefinite. I see no reason why she would post anything though after all this time if she wasn't planning a comeback of some sort. I wonder what she'd go for. She can't sing and I think she mentioned that she hates acting, didn't she? She was pretty darn good with variety shows though so maybe a talento?
