Has anyone compiled a list of OG who have returned for the 20th anniversary concerts this year? I know a hand full are pregnant or recently gave birth, but it'd be interesting to see who doesn't show up if they aren't in that category.


Also, we have a MKB reunion appearance for the 20th anniversary this fall.

I remain astonished that they managed to last as long as they did.

It was amazing that they made it through their slump where they basically didn’t exist. Once they got the ball rolling again they did fairly well.

So far this year...

1st Gen MM appears in full.

2nd gen MM appears in full.

3rd gen MM will be appearing.

4th gen MM has two of four members pregnant, so it is unlikely they will do anything in full.

5th gen MM has two of four members appear.

6th gen MM has three of four members appear.

7th gen MM is no where to be seen or no one cares to hear about her, so no news is reported.

8th gen MM is also no where to be heard.

In all curiosity, what has Makoto been doing lately? I haven't heard any news about her in ages. Did she "retire" or just not enough fans to keep tabs? Same with Koharu. You'd think something would pop up regarding them since freaking Asuka and Kago are appearing again.

Apparently she does stage plays. Like three last year. But no one talks about them.

Koharu has a photo book out.

Koharu was also on a tv show last year.


Makoto does do stuff. Best way to keep up with her is to follow her blog. She’s a freelancer since leaving UFP and going into her short retirement. She mostly does plays but is also in some small movies. Still keeps up with her English studies and meets up with other 5th gens from time to time.

It looks a bit weird because she doesn't really lipsynch it, but I guess they wanted it to be that way.

Seems like she's been studying photography, right? I think she was featured at that exhibit. I really wanna see her photos.... but it was amazing to see a photo of HER instead <333 Glad to see she's still keeping herself occupied and following a new dream!

I watched the Summer 2015 H!P concerts this week and it was great to see Maho in all her glory. When I got to Japan for HinaFes the following March, she was absent, so I've never seen her live.

all i see her do besides act in the occasional play is karaoke MM music anyway so i legit wouldn’t even be surprised if they did this

I'm no director, but it looks like they recorded it at half speed, then sped it up? That could be why it seems off, she's dragging it out to try and match the half speed since the lyrics are already slowly paced.
