Berryz Kobo's "Watashi no Mirai no Danna-sama"

It's over at H!O, although the Dohhh Up site is being flooded as I type.



I have to admit though, that I've gone from a Berryz fan to someone who really doesn't care two hoots about them. The PV was okay, and of all people, Momoko stood out (and she's not using her Helium voice). But those outfits! ... Sexy Otonajan (that 2005 shuffles unit with Miyabi in it) pulled off the color scheme much better. The dance was all right, and the single shots were much more entertaining.



Musically, this is reminiscent of MADAYADE, but I like that one more. That PV was more entertaining. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... deways.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sideways:' /> The good point is that Risako isn't belting it all out for this song, but Miyabi sounds really weak for no reason.

And while we're on the topic of Berryz, FIVE of them are out with the 'flu: Captain, Momoko, Maasa, Miyabi and Risako. So their Sendai concert this weekend has been shoved all the way to 12/30. I'm surprised it's not hitting the rest of H!P just yet.

It's amazing how even though this one release needed two PVs, they both managed to be marginally more interesting than some other PVs. The Berryz always at least try to look like they're having fun in their videos.

It's so sad how the rest of Berryz don't like hanging out with Chinami and Yurina. They must really lock them out of their lives if they won't even be kind enough to share the flu with the two.

I finally got down to watching the PV and it compensates for Ryuusei Boy! Although I don't like those costumes -even if they didn't look recycled-, at least the girls look very pretty (and not pregnant)! Risako looks kind of idol-chubby in this. In don't know if it's just a poor choice of hair style for her face shape + a badly fitted costume, or if she's really gained a little weight. She's not at Kago/Yossi-fat level, just sort of "Whoa, she looks different."



The dance for this is really spastic and the costumes don't fit the background (which is supposed to be...a house? I guess?) at all. The costumes would work a lot better on some sort of stage backdrop (ala Genghis Khan). The song is okay, but not really memorable. It seems kind of all over the place, much like the dance. I liked the little repeated lines (nai, nai nai) but other than that the song didn't really seem to flow well.

^^ I totally agree about the song not really flowing.... I like bits and pieces, especially the verses, but all put together, it doesn't seem to match.



Risako sounds a hell of a lot better in this than she did in Ryuusei Boy. And I don't know whether she gained weight, but I think she looks really stunning in this one. Her hair and face are model gorgeous.

I really liked the song at the preview, but it didn't end up as good as I thought it would. Still mildly enjoyable though. I think I would prefer Ryuusei Boy if it weren't for the vocals in that one.

I've been thinking Risako is a little chubby for two years now, so I am too biased to notice if she is specially chubby in a PV. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /angel.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':XD:' /> Either way, red is never the best color for hiding weight gain.

(She's still too darn pretty, I love her eyes!)

I like it. It reminds me of Madayade in that it's not really memorable, though. I get songs stuck in my head really easily; I've gotten Kimagure Princess in there a lot, Ryuusei Boy a lot, but I always forget what this song sounds like.



I like the costumes and the set separately, but it doesn't really fit together.

Ah, i'm loving this song more than Ryuusei Boy. The girls are just gorgeous in their outfits and the dance is cute too! Although I like Ryuusei Boy's chorus more however, this is very nice.
