She also happens to be doing real sexiness instead of the usual cutesy-sexy look, so maybe that was even more misleading.

But H!P should start auditions for PhotoShop artists.

One thing is twisting °C-ute's legs and arms, other is messing up with a Morning Musume single cover. Even if I can see Eri's arm, I also thought it was missing at first glance, and that's the only one a person who is not a fan will give to that cover. Well, it is the limited edition, luckily it won't be there for that long but... Still, the whole idea behind the cover design (and the image they try to convey with this single) seems like a big joke.



Now the good side, Koharu looks amazing (I'm not her fan) and most of the girls seem pretty good inspite of all above. Congratulations, girls!

I can really see her arm there. It was a terrible choice of effect, and I would have used a different color of background with whatever Photoshop effect they were playing this time (Lighten? Screen?) but her arm is there! Pay attention , there's something darker there, it is her glove.

JSp could be right about how Eri has lost her arm - by having it colour-keyed out (much like blue-screen in movies) together with her black glove by some photoshop idiot. Except I can't see any remnants of her arm there. After editing this and trying to make the "o" normal sized to compare it to the capital O, it's pretty much the same. I don't know if this particular Type has a lowercase set, but that would be the only way to justify not shrinking it enough, if they just used a lowercase letter. It's just right above half height, if they did something to it, I'd think they'd make it smaller than half since they're already in the process of reducing the size. They might have been better off simply using a period.

They use up all of their creative energy and skills once a year on things like this, and that's really the most we can expect from them. If only someone could convince them to make that one-cover-a-year a MM one instead of a Nacchi DVD 6 people will buy.

Holy shit, that cover looks amazing. I don't see why they can't have the same team/person/whatever who did that work on other things, though I guess with Nacchi being their staple musume, I'm not surprised.



Kimagure's one bad cover out of a quite a few good ones from MoMusu recently, so I can deal. I wouldn't mind their next one having as much effort as the Nacchi one for sure. Maybe their next album or something. Here's to hoping.

Wow, yeah, I think part of the problem comes from the fact that MM is so big and the people they get to work on their stuff get tired after 3 girls.

I don't know if that galaxy design was even from a usual person, they might have hired someone special because it's Nacchi's big important tour before she vanishes off the face (not really) of the earth.



Also, they may have entirely different teams, if Nacchi is still under Hachama, they might not even work anywhere near the Zetima artist team.

The fireworks are definitely the most normal thing about the cover.

As for the cover, they should let the girls design them from now on; those Christmas shirts they did were much better than the butchering the PS techniques did to the group. They were too "revolutionary" for my taste.

The B-side is out and around on youtube. I remember the BBS having a fondness for Hirata Souichirou... and regardless, Aishite aishite ato ippun isn't a bad song. It's like a mellowed out Tokkaiko Junjou or something. No silly autotune, and until a clearer version convinces me otherwise, no prominent cheapass strings synthesizer that is my idiosyncratic benchmark for passing any song. (Yes, this means Ame no Furanai is automatically thrown out.)



And is it me, or are the Single V covers always better than the actual singles?

Their B-sides have been decent lately. Loved Aki Urara and enjoyed 3,2,1, Breakin' out, for what it was... This one is all right too. I like the verses more than the refrain though, which is kinda generic.



Nice to hear Risa sounding like Risa, too. Couldn't even recognize her (usually distinctive) voice in the A-side due to the pitching.

Listening to the song for the first time since the PV came out on Dohhhup, and in Risa's chipmunk part, she goes off key at the end, and they kept it in the final... It annoys me everytime I hear it. I noticed it before, but now it seems more apparent

It's not so much the off-key part, it's the way she bursts the fuck in with her HI PAY ATTENTION TO ME delivery that sounds like she's just been punched in the gut. Which I support the practice of.

Apparently Nanchatte sold 23,201 on it's first day, so this is a pretty big drop, but Kimagure Princess didn't have the boost of a special anniversary edition. On the 2nd day MM dropped to 5th, beat out by Mizuki Nana in 3rd and AKB in 4th.
